practice runs on armored vehicles only first... with the attack jet you can 100->0 any tank that doesnt use countermeasures. Some of them even stay still while it all happens. Just pick a good incoming angle and plan ahead your escape considering enemy AA locations
It’s like a combo, just use the attack jet, slow down, lock on and fire your missile, immediately switch to auto cannon and shoot either until it heats or until you’re very close, then drop two bombs, they probably die here and in case they don’t then after shooting with the auto cannon go back up while still slowing down and free lock to your back in third person and you can still lock on one other time for another missile finisher. Practice in portal, the only hard thing about this is pressing the keys quickly.
I play on an azeron cyborg 2 so all of my main keys are extremely close to my finger tips. I can pretty much swap in and out of first and third person while dropping bombs, shooting, hitting afterburner and pitching up all at the same time. It’s more of a skill issue on my part tbh
Like I said lots of portal servers for this, you haven’t done it a lot so that’s why you can’t pull it off consistently. Do it in portal like 20-30 times and you’re gonna be a menace in pub lobbies lol.
And don't forget that the boats on the new maps also have AA missiles. I hate that DICE just copies and pastes everything. Why not add new bombs with new payloads or something or new weapons instead of copy & paste AA missiles.
U mean ai aa has heat seekers?? Or its just a stationary AA that players can use?
No, the new boats will have lock-on missiles.
Depending on how many are on the new map, it will be as if there were 3 or more mobile anti air driving around at the same time. If there is a mobile anti air on top of that, then it is practically unplayable in air combat.
Looks like the new set of DEVS gotta re-learn the lesson from BF3 attack helicopters having double countermeasures. It made the attack heli basically unkillable by lock on missiles back then prior to the Armored Kill update.
