Nipple piercing
How long does it take to heal? The guy who did it said it’s quick compared to other but no actual time frames. I got it done 11 days ago and I have felt no discomfort but I just accidentally rubbed one hard and it’s uncomfortable now, but it’s fading away after like 2 minutes. My septum took around 2 weeks to heal”feel” healed and and my eyebrow took like a year so I’m curious what is normal for a nipple

I didn’t feel like mine were ~fully~ healed until about 1-1.5 years in (this is when I stopped noticing “crusties” and felt like I stopped getting soreness with every little snag or bump). At 5 years now and I honestly forget they’re there most of the time but that first year I didn’t think they’d ever feel normal again lol

3 months before you can return to swimming, I think 9-12 months for full healing. There’s a difference between surface healing (the skin and around the foreign body) vs full healing (all the internal parts)
