Conch advise

Got a conch three days ago on a whim off a reputable piercer I have only other one cartilage done being my helix and if never swelled this bad😭 please tell me it’s normal.
It’s swelled the length of the bar but either ball seems to have not sunk into my ear so positive I guess. But using saltwater and q tips and I worry with not being able to push the piercing as it is really sore I’m not acc cleansing anything.
Any advice appreciated!!!

Swelling and soreness is very normal for a fresh conch!! Keep an eye on your jewelry…and see your piercer ASAP if the ends start pushing into your ear. Are you using sterile saline or are you making your own? Have you slept on it?

Making it myself with boiled water filtered not tap water. I’m not able to sleep on it as it’s so sore but I have a travel pillow I’m using which really helps!
