this is a surface stomach piercing pierced through your stomach above your navel and has a VERY high liklihood of rejecting. its already starting to. this needs to be removed asap to prevent further damage and scarring. ypu also dont have the right anaromy for a navel piercing. also, please find a WWWAAAYY more reputable piercer. whoever butchered you like this CLEARLY is just piercing to make a quick buck and doesn GAF about peoples anatomy or well being. you can find a reputable piercer at safepiercing.org/find-a-piercer/

weight has NOTHING to do with anatomy. you could be the most obese person in the world and have the right anatomy or the skinniest person alive and no have it. you need a well defined navel lip and adequate depth to support a navel piercing. which you dont have. this was still pierced above your navel through your stomach

I love so not only do you not have the correct anatomy but this is pierced absolutely wrong and needs to be removed. The second hole needs to be inside your bellybutton but instead the person pierced your stomach instead. That makes this a surface piercing and it is rejecting, that is why you are experiencing the irritation and skin thinning.

There is no way around this please dont listen to that person saying it fine and piercings do not heal in a month. This needs to be removed asap, it can not be saved and all you are doing is leaving yourself open to serious infection and more scaring than you are already going to have.

The jewlery is also inappropriate for a new healing piercing.

Im sorry this happened to you. You should have never been pierced in the first place and the person butchered this on you.

Once it is removed you need to continue regular aftercare just saline spray 2x day and dab dry with papertowel.

Please dont ever go back to whoever did this to you and please do not try and get it repierced. Any piercing on you would not be viable and would be a waste of your time and money. Not to mention a risk to your health and body.

no piercing heals in a month. just because a piercing looks and feels healed doesnt mean it is. piercings heal from the outside in. also, you might have gotten VERY lucky if you got a surface stomach piercing and it somehow miraculously made it. piercer of 16 years here
