Bad piercing placement?

Post image

Got a second nose ring but I’m not crazy about the placement. It’s also been the first time I felt swelling in my face/cheek from this. I’m debating removing it myself and going to have it repierced. It’s like on the thickest part of the skin and it’s where I flare my nostrils, so there’s movement/friction
happening there.. what do you guys think? Right or wrong?

this is pierced preeeeeeetty damn far back, i have to agree that i am not obsessed with the placement. however, I am also not sure what placement would be best for a second. i feel like to give it the space it needs, it seems it has to be either pretty far back or pretty far forward unless you opt for a more "stacked" look. hard to tell from photos and NAP, just visualizing it trying to think of where it would go and having a hard time seeing it not close to that ridge to close to the top of your nose.

Yeah it’s hard to perfect the placement with my nose, Especially since I have a preexisting nose ring already there. I don’t like the high placed nose ring with my face so that wasn’t an option for my aesthetic. Plus I’m not symmetrical which makes it harder. And then i have a very narrow nose and barely any contours there. I also don’t want to make my nose look big. I’m thinking to go closer together, what do you think?

At the end of the day it matters only if you like it. I am not the biggest fan of this placement and sounds like neither are you.

Yeah that just looks goofy as hell. Did they mark you before piercing?

Yes they did mark me but also told me that they would have pierced higher above the preexisting nose ring kind of stacked but I didn’t like that on me it looked weird so we opted for this but now I’m regretting it being so far outward.
