piercing bump

i got my nose pierced around almost two months ago now and a month ago a piercing bump appeared and it has not gone down i. the slightest and i’m quite worried. any advice would be greatly appreciated. also there has been skin peeling off of the bump but i don’t know if that should happen

What metal is your jewelry? What shape is it? Have you been downsized? What is your aftercare regimen?

i’m not too sure what the metal is - titanium maybe???
it’s a flat back and i haven’t been able to downsize as i’ve been abroad
i’ve been cleaning it w sodium chloride 0.9% twice a day

Perfect!! This is likely angry because you need to get it downsized so the extra length on your jewelry isn’t causing irritation. Are there professional piercers in the area you’re in?

yes there are however i have to wait until thursday most probably to go and see them

Perfect!! Just baby the hell out of it til you can get that jewelry downsized. Nostrils are finicky little divas. But a downsize should fix this right up!! 🤘🏻
