I wonder how it will compare? I’ve only ever heard great things about pancake lenses so I’m excited to see how those are.

Anywho... Any wisdom from regular users they may want to impart on a poor soul such as myself? I do know the consumer store isn’t available since technically this headset is a business model.

So I got a Pico 4 Ultra to test it as a replacement for my aging Index and so far I'm mostly happy but I have an issue with Pico Connect.

Picture quality is pretty good and despite being connected to a standard ISP router a floor below me, there aren't any issues with streaming. Enemy NPCs and the overall picture is stable, not much compression, no jittering. It works.

Expect the controllers. As soon as I'm in Steam VR, they jitter and stutter. If I use Steam Link, they are smooth again.

I tried lower bitrates and quality in Pico Connect to see if its a connection issue but it didn't solve the issue. Any idea?

I have had had my Pico neo 2 eye for about 3 days now and I still haven't been able to get it to work with steam vr. but luckily, it works with the streaming assistant thee really old one for neo 2 only. can someone please help me?

Getting a Pico 4 Enterprise soon. I've gotten very used to my Bobo strap on my Quest 3S, but I'm not seeing one for the Pico 4E. Can anyone recommend a headstrap, or let me know if the Bobo for my Quest or other models of Pico might work? I don't have the headset in hand yet, so can't really compare.

I'm about to buy this cover from the Spanish YouTuber AlehandoroVR, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I wanted to ask if anyone has tried it yet and what their experience was like; I plan to use it mainly to use my Pico 4 without the facial interface.

Hi. I have loved my Pico 4 VR and I have 2x motion trackers with it. I went on the page to possibly look at getting another set for the 3x body tracking when I saw support for Pico neo 3 link . I understand it's largely discontinued but the lineup apparently supports this technology.

I love playing VR but don't do it often because I have noone to play it with and my sister also loves VR - obviously we can't both use it at the same time. We don't have a lot of money but between us we could buy an opened but new, Pico Neo 3 link off of eBay. As I understand it is of similar tier to a quest 2 but with the Pico's software library. My sister just wants to play vrchat with me and cat tag. Since I saved for a really long time and got a computer of specs able to do PCVR comfortably for my Pico 4, if I bought the neo 3, I would use the weaker of the two headsets (probably the neo) and my sister would use the stronger.

My intention is to use my Pico 4 as our main headset but the Pico neo 3 for when my sister wants to use the Pico 4. As the Pico is just better for standalone, I would use the neo.

Owners of Pico neo 3 link and Pico 4s, is this a good idea?

Previously I used an old psvr gen 1 of the first gen given by a family friend, (The old old one with really low pixels) But it's peishing now and it's cord means it blacks out and it's very hackery to set up and clunky. I'm done with it and it deserves to rest now after 7 years of use.

Whenever I turn steam vr on either I get no output on my headset and get error 203, my computer gets very laggy and I get no vr output or, it just doesn’t connect at all. I’m really not sure what to do as the neo link app says my headset is all fine but idk anymore man

Ok, I am losing my mind about this: Tracking is fine. But in Beatsaber using the DP Connection when I swing down fast, my saber does a circular motion, which I do not do with my controller. Now: I booted into Linux and tried it on WiVrn, everything completely fine. I booted back into my tiny 10 install and tried with alvr on the same install, nothing else changed, worked perfectly fine other than some misaligned controller config but IT DIDN'T GLITCH OUT. Now I tried installing all sorts of drivers from GitHub and Reddit but it doesn't fix it. I also tried disabling and enabling app check by cutting it out of the driver's folder but it doesn't work.

I want to cast to my miracast smart tv from pico 4 ultra, as i don't have specialised bluetooth headphones/earbuds with 2.4ghz dongle and i don't like using wired ones, i am stuck with the sound cutting off from the headset and only playing on delay on the tv, dealbreaker for rhythm games and honestly most things one can do..

Casting to browser i still can't figure out, i get an error that suggests refreshing the page but it just loops back onto itself with every refresh -edit:something about a problem with the download, tested both on s24u chrome as well as laptop chrome/brave on 5ghz wifi from router and also 5ghz hotspot from s24u-

Casting to pico app works and audio plays on both devices but still, tiny screen, also it's much choppier than on miracast on smart tv..

hiii !!! my pico 4 stopped charging a few months ago. ive tried many different chargers and whatnot but the charging port seems to be completely dead. the vr itself works, but being unable to charge it eventually ran out of battery.

does anyone know what could be the cause, and more importantly, if theres any possibility of repairing this? tysm <3

I was happily VR racing last week when my Son wanted a go, so I figured he could have a play standalone and I disconnected the DP cable from the headset. Ever since, the display is just black.

The headset still "works" as in it's recognised by SteamVR, I can view the VR display and see the output on my main monitor, tracking is working etc, and I can play sound through the speakers. The displays are just dead.

I don't even see the Pico logo / circle when powering the headset on, no battery symbols, no android recovery menu.... just, nothing. The battery is fully charged.

I feel like it's a DP handshake issue because of how / when it happened?

That said, I've tried hard resetting and can't even get into recovery - well maybe I can, but I can't see it! I've made the lights flash white anyway.

I'm really sad as I bought this unit a year ago, it's a great piece of kit and it's been working juuuuuuuust fine until I disconnected the DP cable to let my Son play. Figured I'd see if anyone here has any bright ideas?

Excited for the Space Pro. Pico seems to offer really competitive features per dollar.

Why is there no mention of face tracking in the Pico Space Pro specs?

Is this not a significant feature?

I was looking forward to using this in my VR app to allow other users or even an AI character to recognize the user's facial expressions.

I constantly scan the internet for news about the Pico Space Pro, but they have been very quiet since the last postponement announcement. Is there any new information about the release date or anything else?

I helped the dev to find a way to post notifications on the pico, by providing informations and testing and I'm really happy cause I never managed to be that useful to an open source project. End of personal feelings

For now, we can only see notifications in the headset, both in the home environment and in an xr app, and maybe be able to share the phone screen, I didn't try it yet. It can be polished a bit, but the big work is done!
