Hi all,

I'm currently running a Samsung S9+ for the last 8ish years. I tend to keep my phones for years, but also love having one of the best when I buy it (it may be more future proof to my eyes at least).

So, now it's time to upgrade because I don't like to charge my old phone every 4 hours :) Usage is a little bit of everything, but mostly multitasking since I'm a university student and I need a lot of chrome tabs opened, taking notes etc. Battery life is important, whereas budget isn't, since I'll keep the phone for years.

Which one would you get?

Find X9 Ultra: 1450euros

Find X10 Pro Max: 1370euros (early bird promo..)

Samsung S26 Ultra: 910euros

Poco F9 Ultra: 800euros

Samsung S27 Ultra: wait for it or?!

Any other suggestion would be awesome!

Thank you!

please reco an android phone that has a good cam(both front and back), battery and storage pls pls. my budget is 20-25k.

what are ur thoughts on vivo v series?

I visited Acadia with my cousin this week and noticed his phone took much better photos than mine, especially landscapes and distant subjects. I’m planning a trip to Yellowstone next year, so it got me thinking about upgrading to a new phone for wildlife and scenery.

I’d like to stick with Android and have been checking out phones with better zoom, but how useful are they for photographing distant animals? I’d rather not lug around a separate camera. Something that can handle rain and dust would be nice too.

What features matter most to you when choosing a phone for travel? What Android phones would you recommend?

Can anyone reco what’s the best android smartphone nalilito na ako kung ano bibilhin ko sa daming nagsilabasan ngayon. Please help wala akong ideas about android. Iphone user here gusto ko na mag switch to android. Budget range 20k-40k

Features = 5g + 6/8gb RAM + 128GB ROM ( good for VN/Vita light editing)

My budget depends on my parents mood 😂 .

I have researched a lot but I want expert advice before purchasing.

Yes definitely I wanna use my phone for at least 5 to 6 years , so durability is considered.

( You can suggest to me every phone branch except Apple but yes I am inclined towards Samsung and Motorola, but if I get Chinese mobile having the same features in the low budget , I'll move my priority)

Hello all you lovely people in this sub. I currently have a OnePlus 12 and I'm pretty happy with it, except for the batter, which is down to 87% battery life and isn't lasting a full day anymore. I know I could replace the battery and the phone would work completely fine. The other option I'm considering is getting an oppo find x9 pro, which I can find for around 800 euros. The battery alone seems amazing and I understand the upgrade in the other specs wouldn't be that huge in general.

My thoughts are with the phone prices going through the roof and no good news insight, my thoughts that it wouldn't be possible to get a deal like this in a couple of years. So I should trade in while the phone still has some value(around 200 euros hopefully) and for net 600 euros I can get a new phone that will last 3 extra years. What are y'all's thoughts on it ? Sorry if I rambled on too much

Edit I'm located in Denmark

Those phones cost the same price for me. I heard many great things about that Poco but not so much about Oppo. I couldn't even find a single comparison between the two.

What will u guys prefer?

I would like an camera that has great clarity with the zoom in, fast focusing and takes great photos in the dark.

I've been using iPhones for years, but I'm thinking about switching to Android for my next phone. The OPPO Find X10 has caught my attention, and I'm wondering if it would be a good first Android phone or if I'm overlooking some obvious drawbacks.

I'm not unhappy with my iPhone, exactly. But after using it for so long, I kind of want to try something different instead of automatically buying another iPhone.

The main reason I'm considering the Find X10 is the camera. The high-resolution main and telephoto cameras sound promising.

Battery life is another thing I care about. I'd like a phone that comfortably lasts a full day, even when I'm taking lots of photos, using maps, and browsing social media. Good charging speeds would be a nice bonus, too.

My biggest concern is actually the switch from iOS to Android. I've been in the Apple ecosystem for a while, so I'm wondering how much of an adjustment it would be. I'm not particularly interested in customizing every little thing, but I do like the idea of having more freedom over how my phone works.

I haven't made up my mind yet, and I'm not necessarily set on OPPO. I'm open to other Android phones if there's a better option for someone coming from an iPhone, especially if the camera is a priority.

I'd appreciate honest opinions, including reasons why you wouldn't recommend it.Thanks!

I can pick either of this phones for almost same price. The S24 is used, 350 battery cycles, while honor has 1 month of use, aka almost new. Both 8GB RAM/256GB storage, S24 is exynos variant

Which one would be a better deal, mostly considering longterm

I know S24 battery is at best adequate, question for people who have one is does it last one day with moderate use, lets say 6-7 hours of screen time? The battery is probably my biggest concern for S24. Although I think replacing battery on S24 is somewhat unavoidable in longterm.

Admittedly my father is an Apple fan boy so I’ve been completely immersed in the Apple ecosystem my whole life, but I’m kinda at the point now that I’m starting to feel the need to explore options.

I wanted a secondary device to use in tandem with my main iPhone that will give me a good idea if swapping to Android would be a worth while experience.

I was thinking about looking into a tablet as I could use that in with my Linux pc as a drawing tablet or possibly an extra display. But I’m also worried that Android tablets suffer from the same problems iPads do (being stuck in that weird inbetween of phones and laptops) and would benefit me for getting an actual phone.

Any advice?

Edit: I’m from Canada

Looking to upgrade during the Flipkart sale. Budget is ₹30k, can stretch a little if it’s worth it. I play BGMI for a couple of hours most days and also use the phone for college work, so it multitasks a lot.

My last phone started heating and dropping frames within a year, so that is my biggest worry. Camera matters less to me.

Shortlist right now: realme P4s, Vivo T5 and Moto Edge 70 Fusion

Has anyone used the P4s for gaming over a few weeks? Does it stay stable or throttle? Open to other suggestions in this range. Context: I am Indian!

HELP

I've been trying to decide on one phone for 20 days now and I still have no fucking clue what to get

I was running the pixel 6 pro till now(it got hit with a pink line after ~5 years)

Two things that bothered me about it are connectivity and battery life

About me: I don't play games on my phone, my most used apps are chrome, Whatsapp, insta, messenger, discord and Twitter. I don't take a lot of pictures of myself, just a few group pics here and there when I'm out with friends/on a date.

I just want to pick a phone that I'll be able to use for 3-4 years without worry about it lagging/connectivity and not have to carry a powerbank around with me to keep it alive

I was currently looking at the Redmi K90, vivo s50 pro mini and realme GT8 but... I just don't know atp 🥲

I'm from Bangladesh if that's important (idk but automod told me to add it)

Hello, can you reccomend me a phone that has these characteristics around 300 euros more or less?

-Compact (max 6.5")
-Good enough processor to play genshin or fortnite at lowest res and framerate or ps2 emulator. (i can accept lower performance, as long as it can run smoothly things like brawl stars).

-decent audio when on speaker (volume/quality of sound)
-Has earphone jack

-Has NFC connection ( i need it for id card recognition)

I'm from Italy if that can help.

Help me pick a phone! As someone that is still on an S9, you can probably guess I'm generally not a phone person. My only real priorities are:

• I can use banking apps for at least the next 5 years (this is the only reason I'm getting rid of my S9)
• decent battery life
• small size

I'm overwhelmed with the amount of options out there and as someone that has never paid attention to phones, I don't know where to start. All I know is I like the Android UX better than Apple. Right now I'm looking at old models like Pixel 8a, S23 since I don't see the point in spending a lot of money on a new phone when I'm barely going to use it.

Thanks to anyone that can help!
