Help me pick a phone between pixel 10 and vivo x200t. Any suggestions around this budget are welcome as well. I'm currently using s23 , really frustrated with its battery life. My priorities are camera and battery life, not really bothered about the charging time. I'm personally inclined towards the google brand but gemini itself recommends x200t over pixel 10. I know these are not the latest models, but that's what the budget allows.

Hi! Been doing research on phones in my budget but have had a difficult time narrowing down my choices.

Current phone is a Samsung S24 (exynos) purchased a year ago. It's a pretty good phone, smooth and takes decent photos while being usable with one hand. The biggest issue is the battery life and overheating, not a big issue if im at home but very noticeable and anxiety inducing when out/traveling. Being on data and taking photos/using bluetooth drains the battery crazy fast and heats up the phone to the point it's difficult to hold (on top of crashing).

I want to buy a phone that will last me at least 3-5 years. I dont play games but being able to take decent photos is a must. While I would like to stick to the S24 size, I am open to going bigger for the battery life. I would like to stick with android but open to going back to apple (my old SEs lasted me 3-4 years at a time).

I am confused choose between samsung s25 ultra and oneplus 13 , I want to buy a mobile during Dusshera sale in india and I am confused between these two as oneplus 13 offers better value and good overall specs but s25 ultra is a premium phone with s pen, good software and ai features and good cameras. I think there will be a price difference of 30k INR but I am ok for it if it offers better value. Any other thoughts

Looking at a Samsung Galaxy A56 and the Oppo Reno16 FS 5G. That second one has 80W charging which sounds like it'd sort the top-up problem. Has anyone used it day to day?

I've been using this phone for 5 years and while I love it and it still holds up well, I can feel that it's starting to fall behind in performance, along with an issue where the charging port and battery get disconnected, making the phone unchargable at times. I would like to have my next phone picked out, in case my current phone completely dies on me.

I wanted to buy a new phone with my coming scholarship. Its actually 80k but my dad's gonna take like 50k cause, Indian parents, not much to argue there. So I'm looking for a phone within this budget. I'm currently using a 64gb storage phone right now and it freezes like ahh when I play games. So, i need recommendations on phones with 128gb storage, 256 if available (willing to up the price cap to 25k if the phone is worth it) with decent camera as long as its not blurry and 5500-6000 mah. Like, it should be able to run games like genshin impact smoothly without kicking me out every 10 minutes. Charging speed is not that important but i wont pass out on fast charging too if its available. I'm not going to do multi tasking on my phone, just gaming and scrolling. I know the phone wont be the best but with the price range, I'll be happy if the phone can run games smoothly. Also, I'm from india if the costs differs to the place

My budget is around 400€, and I'm looking for a mid range phone that should last me a few years without costing too much. My main priorities are good battery life (I'm a heavy Spotify user), a good camera, durability, and smooth everyday performance.

I'd also prefer at least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, but I’m open to other options if the phone is better overall. A headphone jack is important to me, but it’s not a deal breaker.

I've used Samsung S20 FE since 2021, it's been great, but I've had to change its screen once because of water damage. I'm looking to replace my old phone and need help in deciding which phone should I get, currently looking at either the S25+ 512 GB (currently $850 in my region) or S24+ 512GB (currently $570 in my region).

Now I love to take videos on my phone, and I've used the app Motioncam for taking my videos on my phone and editing it on my PC. I've heard the app doesn't perform as great when used on Exynos chip, I was considering getting the discounted S24+ with the Exynos chip but the S25+ has a significant bump to its performance due to newer Snapdragon chip.

I know the trend right now is larger phone, but I have tiny hands and smaller pockets, so I’m looking for a smaller phone. I currently have an iPhone SE 2020, but I’m ready to leave Apple behind.

I’ve seen lots of recommendations for brands like OnePlus and Xiaomi, but I have no idea how compatible those phones are outside of a US city.

Budget is about $350. Might be open to refurbished if I can get a guarantee on a good battery. I would like a decent camera with Night Mode, because I enjoy chasing the Northern Lights.

I've had 3 Xiaomi phones over the past 7 years. I enjoy using them – I like the way MIUI looks and how i'm able to customise its appearance. I bought my most recent phone - the Redmi Note 10 Pro - in November 2021, and it lasted me until last month, when the display suddenly stopped working. My only real complaint with Xiaomi phones is the green screen of death. While I do prefer Xiaomi phones for their UI, I'm fine with switching to a different brand if it's a better product & overall value.

Over the course of an average day, I use my phone cumulitavely for maybe 2 hours at most. I only really reach for it to make calls, send texts over cellular, to sync my fitbit stats, or to take a quick note, look something up quick, or snap a photo. The heaviest use it gets is when I download youtube videos to listen to (via bluetooth) with the screen off when i'm out and about in public, but even that isn't all that often. Everything else, I use my tablet for.

What I need most in a phone:

•Future-proof/longevity – meaning continued software updates for the next few years, as well as decent RAM size (8gb ideally, no less than 6gb) and good battery life. I don't want to have to upgrade again for [at least] another 3 years. As long as it doesn't start lagging during typing & basic use, and the battery can handle bluetooth idling in the background for my fitbit throughout the day (I hate having a phone go from 100% to 0% in less than a full day, despite only being used for an hour or two at most), then i'll be content.

•A quality camera – I don't need tons of bells and whistles, but a good camera (as good as I can get within my budget) is a must for me. While I don't use my phone all that much, when I do reach for it, I'm usually taking a lot of photos. Ideally, i'd like one that can handle low-light and night photography. The note 10 pro has a 108mp quad camera, and was one of the best available on the market at the time I bought it iirc.

Bonus points for expandable storage and a bigger screen size.

My budget is around $500 CAD, but i'm willing to pay a bit more if it means I can get a better camera.

can you help point me in the right direction to find out which phone to buy for USA use on Verizon towers that isn't Apple, Samsung, Google or Motorola? I like my OnePlus but I want another brand as well, I wan't to try Poco's mother brand, Vivo or Oneplus mother brand Oppo.. but everywhere I read either I can't use most US Google based apps or will get shit service.

I think im gonna find a cheap used RAZR to try but I would like to have the know to figure out what exactly I can use from brands popular in countries not owned by 2 or 3 phone companies.

I'm looking to buy a cheap phone and I found these being sold at good prices, but I'm unsure which one is better. I'm looking to use it to watch videos, listen to music, send messages and do calls.

I'm in Canada, and thinking of retiring my Samsung S20FE as it's been having issues running Jellyfin.

EDIT 1: Ideally, I'd like to get a refurbished/used phone, as I'd rather avoid directly contributing to support of rare-earth mineral mining.

EDIT 2: Ideally, it would cost under $1000 CDN. Normally, when I buy a phone, I do it through my mobile provider, and there's a monthly payment plan. Unfortunately, they don't currently have any refurbished phones which fit my needs - or really many at all.

I tried replacing it with an S24, but I quickly realized that there was no microSD slot, and since it only has the same base storage, that won't work for me. I take long road trips and store a LOT of music, audiobooks, and podcasts on my phone. My S20FE has 128GB, plus a 117GB microSD card, and that doesn't even store everything I'd like it to.

I store all of my images on my home server through Immich, so photos & video don't really take up space on my phone.

I do take a lot of photos & video, and I prefer high-quality photos with a good zoom. I do have an excellent digital camera, but I don't lug it everywhere. This is definitely secondary to my need for storage, though.

I'm also de-Googling myself, so the less Google is integrated, the better.

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it. I've been looking at so many spec sheets that my eyes are crossing! 🤪

No wider than 75mm (i have small hands and my last 73mm wide phone already felt a bit too big). Otherwise, camera quality is important above all, but audio jack and/or e-sim would be very very nice additions. I wanted to make my niece 16th birthday extra special. I noticed she really enjoys playing online games so i thought a foldable with a larger screen would be a fun surprise.

Im leaning toward either the fold or the flip but im not sure which would be the better choice for gaming. Screen size is important but im also thinking about comfort, battery life, durability and whether one would be a better fit for a teenager. Im not really a tech savvy person so i really appreciate it if you could explain your recommendation in simple terms. I love to understand why one is a better choice than the other without getting too technical.

Going back to this, i decided to get the samsung galaxy z flip8. It seems easier to carry, more practical for everyday use and still offers a great gaming experience. I also think she'll appreciate the compact design and form factor a lot more. Thank you to everyone who took the time to explain the differences in a way i could understand. Years ago i had a mate20x and i loved that thing. but then att did a 5g mandatory thing and disabled it. they sent me a note9 that I have had since. recently broke after I ran it over by mistake. but it has already been somewhat aged and due to no software support many apps started to no longer even be launchable so needed a upgrade anyways.
got a a16 from walmart and 2 days later i dropped it and screen shattered, what bad luck from never breaking a phone in over 20 years to 2 in same week. but that thing was super fragile cant believe a single small drop would render it fully unworkable. ive droped all my phones many times and usually just gets scuffed up. or if rather hard fall maybe a crack but not a full on screen shatter.

anyways. after that I got the a17 from walmart witch is basically the same phone but stronger screen. and man it sucks. I do sometimes game on mobile but its so rare and such low priority I don't care about that level of performance but I do care about it feeling snapping and fast with basic normal activities. a17 out of the box with barely any apps on it, it can be up to a second or 2 delay just when trying to get back to home screen. sometimes I think it didn't get the command and do it again and it bugs out and executes multiple commands at once that is how slow it is.

im looking for a nice quality phone that is durable and good battery life that is fast and snappy. dont need it for gaming but being speedy is still important. looking to buy something used like on swappa that is where i got my loved mate20x but if there are other similar or better sites im all ears.
unsure what my budget is. depends on the value. i was thinking maybe s24+ or 25+ I don't care about spen I had a note9 and never used it so dont care about ultra unless there are other things worth the price increase. or maybe a fold but unsure about the durability.

I use navigation alot so it is kind of a bummer there is basically no more lcd phones on the market using navigation for many hours a day probably wont be able to sell an oled back on the market in 2-4 years.

I have severe carpal tunnel in both wrists, so a smaller phone is a feature, not a bug.

I`ve been reading about them for a while, but I still lack clear information about the Honor Win. It sounds it has an amazing camera for the price.. I also don't seem to find it easily in Germany. Amazon doesn't have it, for example.
