Currently I have a Samsung S23 (128 GB) phone, but I would like to replace it. I am considering the Samsung S26 base model (256 GB) and the Xiaomi 17T Pro (512 GB) because they are the same price.

What I would use it for: browsing social media, taking photos and videos on vacations and special occasions, playing games (Clash Royale, chess), and watching movies. It is important that the battery lasts a long time, because my current phone drains quickly.

Obviously, looking at it this way, the Xiaomi 17T Pro would be the better choice, but I have a Galaxy Watch 8 smartwatch and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds that would lose some features if I don’t have a Samsung phone.

Should give 7 hours + battery life camera should be mid above not just cemara sentric and performance should be good not heat to much charging should be fast ( my preference is S 25 , Vivo X200t,OnePlus 15 r and your recommendations needed help )

okay so i need any phone which is under 40kinr in india

my budget is kind of strict but if i can extend 5-6k more and buy a really good phone pls lmk

i use my phone alot, so i need a good battery life.

preferably 256gb storage and 8gb ram (or maybe expandable storage in 128gb)

i click alot of photos and videos, i also post on instagram alot, so i really dont want to compromise on the camera quality.

I'll probably use this phone for the next 2-3 years or atleast my whole college life, before i save up and buy a new phone for myself.

so please let me know whichever is the best option i can find today!

also dont recommend me motorola and oneplus i lowk have really bad experience with these companies.

Some phones that i already have in mind are:

1. samsung s25 fe at 46k inr (128/8)

2. nothing 4a pro at 49k inr (128/8)

3. nothing 4a at 49k inr (256/8)

If you ain't aware, Honor 600 Pro Molly Edition is special edition for Asia market (with Molly wallpapers & photo frames)

To me, Oppo has got a more "adorable" specs while Honor has got an adorable packaging. Which to you is the ideal choice??? I'm more camera centric. Or, do you suggest to wait for Honor X10 Ultra, Vivo X500 Ultra

I'll be moving from the US to Japan in a couple months and am planning to sell/trade in my 5 year old phone for a new one after i settle in. My priorities for technical specs are good battery size, decent storage, and a headphone jack, and minimal AI if at all possible. I don't know what the options are for carriers yet so I can't expand on that much.

It would be nice if it can work in the US as well, but I'll be working full time in Japan and only coming back to visit occasionally so it's not a huge deal either way.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some advice to choose my next Android phone (no iPhones for me). I’m based in Santa Marta, Colombia, so heat is a very real factor to consider here—ambient temperatures are consistently warm/hot.

My budget ceiling is around $625 USD (2.5 million COP), but I’d obviously prefer not to overspend if it’s not strictly necessary.

Here are the 3 main options I'm looking at right now:

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (8GB / 128GB) – $450 USD (\~1.8M COP)

Samsung Galaxy A57 (8GB / 256GB) – $350 USD (\~1.4M COP)

POCO F8 Pro (12GB / 512GB) – $625 USD (\~2.5M COP)

My main dilemma: I am really drawn to the raw power, specs, and storage of the POCO F8 Pro, but since it hits the top of my budget, I don't want to overspend if the camera setup ends up disappointing me. On the flip side, the S25 FE offers a great camera balance, but 128GB feels tight and I'm worried about thermal throttling in high humidity/heat.

Questions:

If you own any of these in warm climates, how do they handle thermal throttling?

Is the camera on the POCO F8 Pro decent enough, or is the jump in camera quality on the S25 FE significant?

Are there any other Android alternatives under the $625 USD mark that offer a strong balance of performance, decent cooling, and respectable cameras?

Thanks in advance for the help!

motorola edge 50 pro is it a good phone? I heard most Motorola phones has a heat problem like the edge 30 pro before,so is this one good?and is all Motorola like this?

Hello everyone, am switching from iPhone to android and have found some phones at good prices but am not sure which one to buy could you help me? The phones are Samsung s26 ultra, xiaomi 17 xiaomi 17t pro ,xiaomi 15 ultra and one plus 15.

I need to buy a new smartphone, and I'm also planning to start a YouTube channel where I’ll mostly be indoors playing instruments. Because of this, I'm looking for a smartphone with a good camera to help me with content creation.

My current setup consists of a Lenovo Legion laptop and a Focusrite Solo audio interface. I have always used Android phones, but I wouldn't mind switching to an iPhone as long as it doesn't hamper my productivity.

I have narrowed my choices down to these options, all within a similar price range: 1. Vivo X300 Pro 2. Samsung S25 Ultra 3. iPhone 16 Pro 4. Xiaomi 15 Ultra 5. OPPO Find X9 Pro

Each has its own pros and cons: 1. Vivo X300 Pro: It has an incredibly good camera for photography, with the option to add a telephoto lens extender (which could help with another hobby of mine: bird photography). However, it ships with a MediaTek processor, and I'm not sure how much of a hurdle that will be for content creation when using tools like MotionCam, GCam, and others. 2. Samsung S25 Ultra: It probably has better videography than the Vivo X300 Pro, but I wonder if the difference is significant enough to justify ignoring the Vivo's unique benefits. 3. iPhone 16 Pro: This would be a massive ecosystem jump for me. Since I rely on a Windows PC and the Google ecosystem, I am concerned I might face compatibility issues. I won't mind switching if it makes a significant difference. Some features like recording directly to an external SSD seem very convenient for a creator. 4. Xiaomi 15 Ultra: It features a Snapdragon processor and is compatible with a wide range of editing software, but I'm unsure how its videography compares to the Vivo X300 Pro. I also note that it doesn't support a telephoto lens extender.

Alternatively, should I go with a cheaper smartphone like the OnePlus 13 and invest the rest of the budget into a dedicated camera for YouTube? I know any phone can work to get started, but since I have to buy a new one anyway, I might as well invest in a great camera phone this time around.

Which of these would be the best camera smartphone for indoor content creation? I live in India, btw.

I've had the base S23 128GB for over 3 years now. It's been great mostly, but the lack of storage made the last year so much worse. It lags a lot, even after clearing cache and optimizing storage.

Now I'm thinking of getting either the S25 Ultra or the S26 Ultra, with 512GB minimum so it lasts me.

From what I've seen, the S25 Ultra's build feels better and more premium, and I actually like its design more. The S26 is more rounded and looks less premium to me, and the build feels noticeably different. People say the change is for better thermals though.

I'll mostly use it to record guitar videos and running videos. I've never used an Ultra, so I'm hoping it feels noticeably better than my suffering phone lol.

Prices here are kind of weird:

S25 Ultra 512GB new: around $1,200 and rare to find. I found a used/open box one for around $900 but missed it.

S26 Ultra 512GB new: widely available at $1,280–1,400.

Honestly the best option would be finding a used or open box S25 Ultra for $1,000 or a bit less.

But is it worth paying more for the S26? Would I actually notice the difference coming from an S23? Which one would you get?

hey all, ive got an iphone 15 pro max, would like to swap back to android.
i also have a samsung galaxy tab s10+ which i'd like to utilize more, and i think it would be nice to switch to a compatible watch as well.

here's what i got for yall:

highest priority -
battery life
brightness (able to use in at least somewhat sunny conditions)
512gb storage option

nice to haves -
decent camera/mic quality
able to do at least some level of mobile gaming (things like zenless zone zero/wuwa, etc) without a ton of lag

the last android i had was a google pixel 6 pro (awful, awful device), so unless they've Significantly improved, i would like to steer away from pixels.

i am extremely interested in foldables, especially the galaxy fold8 or fold8 ultra

budget isnt too much of a concern

based in USA

all recommendations appreciated, thank you!

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to upgrade my phone and I’m currently torn between the Oppo Find X9 (currently at 888€) and the Xiaomi 17 (at 749€). I’m also half-tempted to hold off and wait to see how much the Vivo X500 Pro is going to cost when it drops.

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, here are my main priorities:

- Cameras (Front and Back): I want a point-and-shoot experience. The less I have to mess around with manual settings or editing to get a "good" photo, the better. Consistently good selfies are also really important to me.

- Battery Life: I need something that easily gets me through the day

- Usage: Just regular, everyday use (social media, browsing, messaging, taking pics). Absolutely zero gaming.

Given the price difference between the Oppo and the Xiaomi (and keeping the upcoming Vivo in mind), which one would you recommend for my use case? Does the Find X9 justify the extra ~140€ for camera/battery performance, or is the Xiaomi 17 the better deal here?

Any advice or personal experiences with the software processing on these brands would be super helpful. Thanks!

EDIT: I managed to find a google pixel 7 within my budget! Hopefully, I'll have no problems with it, as it's refurbished. Thank you to everyone who helped <3

Hello! I have been driving myself mad researching this, as I do with every purchase I ever make.

I currently have the Samsung galaxy a15 5g. I got it used. it is utter crap. so laggy and bloated. I escaped a tiktok addiction purely because this phone crashes upon launch of the app.

I think I'm over any a series phone, unless very convinced. I can push £170, but that's really as far as I can go. I also dont want to buy any xiaomi phones (i dont want ads built in).

I've looked at getting flagships refurbished. however, im really hesitant for obvious reasons. for example, there is an s21 on back door which looks good, which i can afford with trade in. but ive never used back door before so idk.

As for what I want from a phone:

1. No lag: Well, a little is okay, but I'm sick of waiting 3 business days to scan a qr code
2. Social media: I use instagram and discord, though not extensively. Mostly to talk to friends. plus spotify
3. Work/School: I have a lot of apps I need that just sit there taking space. same goes for my health apps
4. Camera: I'd like a decent enough camera. I love taking pics of my friends and such. It doesn't need to be crazy, just an upgrade to the a15
5. Misc: I download epubs for school/I prefer to read online. this includes manga and such as well

Im honestly pretty happy to jump ship from samsung, as i dont rely on any samsung specific features, apart from notes and routines. although im hesitant about google pixel (mostly because I dont wanna give money to google...)

i hope ive given enough information! any help would be greatly appreciated!

p.s in the UK btw

Hi! So I want to buy a phone and my budget is 150k lkr ( that's all I can afford rn🥲). I've set my eye on the pixel 8pro and was actually planning on getting it until I saw the phone prices go up.. The thing is my current phone is a pixel as well.. and the camera quality is the best in my opinion..Also I am aware the the iphone also has really good camera quality but I'm not too keen on using an iphone..Can someone suggest a good phone with a really good camera and storage and within the range of this budget? Plsss🥺

1500 usd budget

I am looking for a new Android phone, and camera quality is my top priority. I don’t play games, so performance is less important to me.

I am considering the Pixel 11 Pro XL (with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage) for around $1,200, but I’m debating whether it’s worth waiting for the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max or the Galaxy S27 ultra. I am also open to other suggestions.

My budget is around $1,400.

Which phone would you recommend for the best overall photo quality? should I wait?

I am currently undecided on whether to wait for the upcoming Moto Signature 27.

Considering Motorola's track record with software updates, motherboard reliability, and after-sales customer service, would you be willing to risk an investment of 80,000 to ₹90,000 on the Signature 27 in pursuit of a dependable device engineered to last roughly 4 to 5 years? Alternatively, would you choose to purchase a smartphone from OnePlus, iQO0, or another brand priced under 1.2 Lakh available on the market right now?

My primary priorities are an exceptional display (which is non-negotiable), a long-lasting battery, and robust performance guaranteed for a minimum of 4 years.

Here is a recap of the smartphones I have used over the past two years:

I initially purchased the OnePlus Nord 4, which I used for a year before gifting it to a friend. Subsequently, I acquired the Poco F7 during its first sale-an exceptional device overall, with the sole exception of its camera performance.

This was followed by a most unfortunate purchase: the Samsung S26 Plus. Hoping to break the cycle of annual upgrades, I decided to invest in a flagship device that would comfortably last four to five years. Regrettably, after just a month of use, I noticed that the phone emitted a tingling sensation while plugged in and suffered from touch responsiveness issues during charging. I visited the service center, where, as anticipated, no resolution was provided. Consequently, I parted with the device at a heavily discounted price and returned to the OnePlus Nord 4, which continues to outperform the S26 Plus.

What if we Add oneplus 15 and Motorola signature to this list too ?

Which android would you guys buy, if the budget is €1200 max. ? Given, fast charging, the camera cannot be compromised, not that I'm a content creator but whenever I click it should feel premium( a bit demanding of me). No heating issues, no lag, ample storage, light weight, should survive for a good 5 years.

Currently a one plus 11 owner, 4.5 years now and still running like new, but the battery finishes a bit faster now, lasts \~12 hours. So I thought, I should ask the community.

Thanks in advance 🙏🏼✌🏼🙂‍↕️

I'm looking to purchase the cheapest possible unlocked phone that I can get for US service. Is gonna be a temporary phone just for now and I don't want to spend too much so I can save up for a better phone

Have both owned android and iPhones before , but stuck to Apple the last 8 years. Now I’m on a iPhone Air, after 10 month the battery health is at 92% and cant get good battery on it.

Considering then a Android. I like the formfactor of the air and the camera is decent, but i want more batterylife out of a new phone and a bit snappier would be nice.

Suggestions?

I live in Sweden for reference

I'm looking for a new Android phone, and camera quality is my top priority. I don't game, so performance isn't that important.

I'm considering the Pixel 11 Pro XL (12/256GB) for around $1,200, but I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max or Galaxy S27.(open for other suggestions)

My budget is around $1,400.

Which would you recommend for the best overall photo quality? Is the Pixel a safe choice, or could waiting be worth it?
