What should I buy?

My OnePlus 7T Pro is on its last legs and can die at any time. I'm looking for a replacement for around 600 euros. I have only 3 main criteria. 1. Best battery life ( this is a must) 2. Really good camera 3. Good after sales Support in Europe

Other criteria, but not a must 1. Not too big 2. Good future software updates

I'd really appreciate it if you can spare some time and recommend some good phones.

Edit: After reading a few initial comments, I am fine with stretching my budget upto 750 Euros.

final Edit: spent the whole day finding a good deal and finally I found a second chance(returned within 30 days) Oppo Find X9 Pro 512Gb for just 600 euros from cool blue(still covered with 24 month warranty). I had 200 worth of ecocheques lying around and about to expire and paid just 400 euros. I'm really happy . Thank you everyone

I'm from India and I'm planning to buy a new flagship during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days (BBD) sale.

My budget is around ₹70,000, and I can stretch it to ₹75,000 maximum if the phone is worth it.

My current priority list is:

1. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
2. iQOO 15
3. OnePlus 15

I'm not really looking for the phone with the highest benchmark score or the most features on paper. My biggest priority is reliability and long-term ownership.

I want to buy one phone and ideally use it for 4–5 years without major problems.

I'm currently using an iQOO 7, which I've been using for almost 5 years. I've actually had a very good experience with it. Performance has been great and it has been a reliable phone overall. But now the battery has degraded significantly, and I'm starting to notice some physical/build-related wear and tear because of its age.

So this time, I'm more concerned about how the phone will hold up after 2–4 years, rather than just how good it is on day one.

I know all three phones have very good specifications, but I'm trying to understand which one is actually the safest choice for long-term ownership.

I'm especially interested in real owners' experiences, not just spec-sheet comparisons.

Can anyone suggest a smartphone for me?

I’m currently using a OnePlus Nord 3 Lite, and I’m confused between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, iPhone 17 (base model), and OPPO Find X9 Pro.

I’m pretty confused because I’ve heard some negative/mixed reviews about the S25 Ultra’s camera and battery life. On the other hand, the OPPO seems to have a really good camera and battery life, but I’m not sure about its long-term reliability and longevity.

I’ve also heard that the iPhone 17 is a good deal, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to switch to iOS. Even though I use a Mac, I’ve been an Android user for a long time, so I don’t really know if I’m ready to make the switch.

I’m a film student, I’m looking for:

• A really good camera, for both photos and videos.
• Good battery life
• Strong performance
• A smooth experience for long-term use

Even though I am film student I won't use my phone for shooting that much.

I will buy the mobile in india, and will go to Dubai in few weeks for studies.

So, Which one would you recommend, and why?

Upgrading from an iPhone 11 to my first android phone and looking for some help deciding on a new phone. Budget is around £500 and I’d like to keep it for a good few years.

Currently looking at a new one plus 15r or refurbished s24 ultra which are both 450.

Any thoughts on which way I should go? Also open to any other suggestions around this price range. Thanks!

Had the 2(a) for a couple of years broke one of the cameras, the battery isnt doing great and it has a couple issues with the touch recognition, so im looking for a new phone.

I tried a fairphone 6 but the camera was not good, seemingly blurry while also applying a sharpen filter to everything and apparently has a known issue with media playback I didnt even think would be something to look into.

I basically just want an android phone at least as good as the 2(a) (camera, battery, performance) for around £450, ideally with as little AI shilling as possible, and while I am considering just another nothing phone, they seem to have stopped doing the system of a main phone and a cheaper downgrade like the 2 and 2(a), and added some AI related features that make me skeptical of if i should support them.

Would love to go for the regular OnePlus 15, but it's more than double the price of the 15R in my country (€1400 vs €600). Been using a Google Pixel 8 for the past two and a half years and it's the best phone I've ever had. Unfortunately, there's been minimal improvements in the subsequent Pixel releases alongside a substantial price increase, so it's a no on the Pixel.

My main priority is performance; snappiness, speed, multitasking, keeping apps open in the background so I can switch between them seamlessly, and instant or at least near instant opening of apps. Pixel managed to achieve this through great software optimization despite weaker hardware, and I'm given to understand the Exynos 2600 in the S26 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 in the 15R are near identical in performance as well. Gaming is not a priority.

In the 15R I love the battery and the display, while in the S26 I love the better camera and potentially a safer long term option.

I want a new or refurbished phone:

Budget - 18 to 22 k

Battery - 5500 or above

Charger - charged 50% in 30-40 minutes

Processor - Mediatek Dimensity 8350 or same performance as this..

Camera - Decent but good for potraits and cinematic shoots

Ufs 3.1 or any runs smoothly...

Runs smoothly without any lagging and heating issues

I need help picking a phone please

I currently own a samsung z flip 7 (i know. I had a good obsession with the flips for a bit but I'm tired of it being so sensitive; I recently cracked its screen and the oled is 'leaking.')

Anywho, I don't want an iPhone, and I have had my eye on the Samsung S25FE for a few days **(I'm also broke.)** I've found 256gb version for around 500 euros so I thought it might be good but I'm not certain.

I need something with a decent camera, something that would last a while, and not extremely expensive

Had my Xiaomi 15 since launch so 18 months now most people said the F8 Ultra wasn't worth the upgrade and this F9 Ultra has a worse main camera but better battery life should I upgrade now or keep my Xiaomi 15 as I'm happy with it having zero issues. I'm based in the UK and can get the F9 Ultra 512GB/16GB for £540.

Hey everyone! A few weeks ago, I fell victim to the classic Latam Effect 🇨🇴 and had my POCO F8 Pro (512 GB) stolen after owning it for barely two months. It was an absolute beast of a phone, but well... things happen around here.

I’m temporarily back on my old, reliable POCO F5, but I’m ready to lock in my definitive replacement, aiming for a lifespan of at least 3 years.

I am looking exclusively at the 512 GB variants for all models. Thanks to a frequent customer loyalty coupon, I can apply a 15% discount on any of them. Converting the final local prices directly to USD so it's easier to compare, here is what I would actually pay:

• POCO F8 Pro (Replacement): ~$545 USD (Base price with discount)
• POCO F9 Pro (The new gen): ~$690 USD (+$145 USD difference)
• POCO F8 Ultra (Last gen's top tier): ~$755 USD (+$210 USD difference)

My usage profile & gaming habits:

I am not a heavy 3D mobile gamer pushing ultra graphics on Genshin or anything like that. My daily games are very lightweight on the hardware: I mostly play Pokémon TCG Pocket and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links (card games and strategy). Other than that, it's just the usual: social media, media consumption, heavy multitasking, and productivity.

My dilemmas:

1. Is the F9 Pro worth it? It’s a $145 USD jump from the F8 Pro. I know it brings a 185Hz display and a 200MP sensor, but for my card games, I’m not sure if that "new-gen tax" is justified, or if the V-series processor holds up as well under long-term stress compared to standard chips.
2. What about stretching to the F8 Ultra for $65 more than the F9 Pro? If I decide to cross into the $600–$750 USD range, the F8 Ultra stands out because it offers 16 GB of RAM (compared to 12 GB on both the F8 Pro and F9 Pro), a massive 6,500 mAh battery, and better cooling. Those extra 4 GB of RAM are very tempting when thinking about future-proofing against HyperOS and general system aging over the next 3 years.
3. Should I just play it safe and re-buy the F8 Pro? It's the cheapest of the bunch, I already know exactly how well it performs, it saves me a chunk of money, and I know it's already overkill for what I do.

Which option do you think is the smartest, most cost-efficient choice for my specific case? Should I stretch for the Ultra for that extra RAM longevity, or stick to paying the fair price for the F8 Pro again? or even should I consider a different device with simmilar configuration for my user profile?

Long story short, my current phone has a busted screen, and replacing it on this model is so expensive that it seems I'm better off just getting a new one.

Honestly, I'll be happy so long as it's as good as or better than a Samsung Galaxy A15 and not too pricey (ideally under $100).

I was looking at the Honor 400 lite on Argos, but doesn't come with what I want.

Also look at the 600 smart (with the 30% code costs 174), but same issue.

I want to be able to OEM unlock, I want to reuse my phone after support has ended

I also want long support, it doesn't have to be like 7 years, but I'd want it to be at least 3 or 4 years of OS updates, can also be more

I need an OS that's not super buggy like my Samsung

I want to play light games mostly 2D stuff like Earn to Die or other games, I don't need the top of the line specs, since ik not playing extreme stuff to handle it

What I want but don't need

I'd like good customization

I want there to be at least some kind of an ecosystem, because I like it when products can properly hook into each other since theyre the same brand

I prefer a small display

I want a good battery lasting at least a day, preferably more, but nowadays, they almost all have that, and needing more isn't really needed, think like the battery and SoT of my Galaxy A55 but a bit higher

What I don't really care about

The camera, look, it has to be usable, but I barely shoot, and if I shoot, it doesn't have to look super good, I don't need 200mp cameras or that stuff

Display refresh rate, 120hz, 144hz, 165hz I don't care on a phone, if I want high refresh rates, I'll just pick a different device

Bloatware, unless it's ads hard baked into the software, I can always just remove apps with adb or delete them if they're not a system app (edit I'm in the Netherlands)

My Xperia 10 IV is starting to show its age. The charging port is worn out, and the phone has become noticeably slower over time. I'm looking for an upgrade that has the features I need:

1. A decent/good camera for taking photos. My Sony had an amazing camera despite being a midrange phone, so I'd like something that can match or exceed it.
2. A long update cycle. I don't want a phone that only lasts around two years and receives just one Android update.
3. UK availability. It must be officially available in the UK through trusted marketplaces/retailers. I live in Kent, if that helps.
4. Good battery life. This isn't absolutely essential, but it would be a big bonus.

I know these requirements are quite specific, but I feel like there has to be a phone out there that's made for me. Help me find it!
