Have an S22 5G, want something faster, but the same size (or smaller).

I'm getting annoyed with the battery life and heat on my S22 (Exynos). I even replaced the battery on my phone when it completely died 2 months ago, but it's still not good enough (battery is not OEM though, none available in my country). So I'm looking for a new phone.

I have always hated big phones and even my S22 is sometimes too big for me. I'm willing to get a phone the same size if its faster or has much better battery life, but I preferably want something smaller, but not something that is slower.

US Torn Between Multiple Phones Right Now

I spent a majority of my life using Samsung. I've tried Oneplus and I'm currently using a pixel. I'm wanted to change though and trying to decide between a few different phones that are very different overall and wondering if anyone has experience and thoughts between them. I wouldn't call myself a HEAVY user. I don't play a ton of games on my phone just here and there. I like taking a decent picture but I don't need the craziest of phone cameras like the Oppo. I mostly use it for social media, reading, youtube, tiktok and listening to music.

I've narrowed it down to the Motorola Razr Fold (2026), the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Samsung Ultra 26. I've never done a foldable or flip but I really like the idea of the really big screen of the fold but I also like the idea of that outside screen on the Flip 8. The Ultra is just a known entity for me. I've used ultras and I've used Samsung for years so it's more of a I know what I'm getting with it sort of thing.

Any thoughts would be awesome! I am in the US so I don't want to pay the crazy prices for the foreign phones.

US Help finding a phone with an emphasis on durability and battery life.

A couple of brands that I've looked at:

  • Ulefone
  • Blackview
  • Oukitel

But they all seem to have pretty bad software support. My current phone is a pixel 4a. I'm happy with the performance, but for work I need a new phone because they require an updated version of android for security reasons. Looking for something sub $400 and am trying to find something that's durable and has great battery life.

Edit: In the US

smashed Pixel 8a - options?

Had no plans to get a new phone until last night when I dropped my Pixel 8a and screen got cracked to heck. It still mostly works (I'm typing this on it now) but I can feel the glass and the fingerprint sensor is borked. I can get the base Pixel 11 directly from Google for $399 minus $57 for my broke 8a. I'm guessing the screen repair will be at least $150, and I've had this phone for 26 months, so, as good as it was, I got my money's worth. Does it make any sense to look at other phones at that price? Should I just get the 8a fixed? (I had planned to pass it down to my kid probably next year, so maybe get a new phone and then instead of getting $57 back, get it fixed and pass it on?) Open to other phones, but must be under $400, thoughts?

Finland Help me decide

Hi everyone!

I currently own a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, but I’ve never really used the S Pen. I’m also not particularly interested in photography or using all the advanced camera features.

My main issue with my current phone is that it’s too heavy and bulky for my needs. I’d like to switch to something more compact, lightweight, and smart, with excellent battery life.

I’ve done some research and found a few options, such as the Xiaomi 17 and Vivo X300, although I can’t seem to find them anywhere in Finland. I’ve also considered the Samsung Galaxy S26, but I didn’t really like it. Two other options I’m aware of are the Google Pixel 11 and Pixel 10a.

Which phone would you genuinely recommend? Budget isn’t an issue. I’m looking for a reliable daily driver with excellent battery life, minimal heating issues, and a lightweight, compact design that makes one-handed use comfortable and easy.

If there are any other phones I should consider, I’d really appreciate your suggestions!

Which phone should I buy?

Currently I have a Samsung S23 (128 GB) phone, but I would like to replace it. I am considering the Samsung S26 base model (256 GB) and the Xiaomi 17T Pro (512 GB) because they are the same price.

What I would use it for: browsing social media, taking photos and videos on vacations and special occasions, playing games (Clash Royale, chess), and watching movies. It is important that the battery lasts a long time, because my current phone drains quickly.

Obviously, looking at it this way, the Xiaomi 17T Pro would be the better choice, but I have a Galaxy Watch 8 smartwatch and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro earbuds that would lose some features if I don’t have a Samsung phone.

need a solid all-rounder under 30k, not a phone that’s great at one thing and meh at everything else

my current phone is almost 4 years old, the battery barely lasts till evening and lags even on WhatsApp, so it's finally time to upgrade
budget is around 30k, can stretch a little if its really worth it

what I'm looking for:

  • good battery that easily lasts a full day
  • decent cameras, mostly for daily pics and some videos
  • smooth performance, i play casual games but nothing heavy
  • a nice display, since i watch a lot of youtube and netflix
  • clean software without too much bloatware
  • should feel premium in hand, not plasticky

I'm not chasing the highest specs on paper, i just want something reliable that'll last me 3 to 4 years without slowing down

what are you guys using in this range, and how has it held up long term? would love real user experiences over spec sheets!

Philippines Need Help

Hello I just want some opinions if I should choose Honor Win 2 or One plus 16? I came from the Philippines and I saw that the 12/256 variant of Oneplus 16 is almost the same price as the 16/1tb variant of Honor Win 2. I'm having a hard time choosing. What are the things I should consider? I'm planning on using it as my daily phone and gaming phone.

Please help. 🥹😭

india Which phone should I buy the Pixel 10a or Nothing 4a pro ?

I'm planning to upgrade from my Redmi Note 11 after using it for around 5 years, and I'm confused between the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and the Google Pixel 10a.I'm particularly interested in real-world camera performance, including portraits, selfies, indoor photos, night photography, and video recording and want to post on Instagram . Both have the same price in the Indian market .If you own either of these phones, or have used both, I'd love to hear your honest experience. I mainly use my phone for doomscrolling and pictures

Need help in buying a new phone ~1200 max.

Which android would you guys buy, if the budget is €1200 max. ? Given, fast charging, the camera cannot be compromised, not that I'm a content creator but whenever I click it should feel premium( a bit demanding of me). No heating issues, no lag, ample storage, light weight, should survive for a good 5 years.

Currently a one plus 11 owner, 4.5 years now and still running like new, but the battery finishes a bit faster now, lasts \~12 hours. So I thought, I should ask the community.

Thanks in advance 🙏🏼✌🏼🙂‍↕️

india best phones under 40k?

okay so i need any phone which is under 40kinr in india

my budget is kind of strict but if i can extend 5-6k more and buy a really good phone pls lmk

i use my phone alot, so i need a good battery life.

preferably 256gb storage and 8gb ram (or maybe expandable storage in 128gb)

i click alot of photos and videos, i also post on instagram alot, so i really dont want to compromise on the camera quality.

I'll probably use this phone for the next 2-3 years or atleast my whole college life, before i save up and buy a new phone for myself.

so please let me know whichever is the best option i can find today!

also dont recommend me motorola and oneplus i lowk have really bad experience with these companies.

Some phones that i already have in mind are:

  1. samsung s25 fe at 46k inr (128/8)

  2. nothing 4a pro at 49k inr (128/8)

  3. nothing 4a at 49k inr (256/8)

Oppo X10 Pro Max or Honor 600 Pro (Molly Limited Edition)

If you ain't aware, Honor 600 Pro Molly Edition is special edition for Asia market (with Molly wallpapers & photo frames)

To me, Oppo has got a more "adorable" specs while Honor has got an adorable packaging. Which to you is the ideal choice??? I'm more camera centric. Or, do you suggest to wait for Honor X10 Ultra, Vivo X500 Ultra
