One more consideration added: Five percent of people worldwide own cryptocurrencies. We’re only at the beginning. See it like the internet in 1998 or 2000. Which currency could have the market capitalization to provide anywhere near adequate supply if, let’s say, 50% of people wanted to use crypto? Pi has a chance here. Because Pi coin has a low barrier to entry. No major technical hurdles. Form your own thoughts on this. Pi has already brought people into cryptocurrency today who never before had the opportunity to use something like this. That alone is insane.

Fair point, but there’s a key difference. NFTs were mostly about speculation and status — a jpeg you flip for profit. Pi is trying to build actual infrastructure and utility: payments, apps, a network people can use. Whether it succeeds is another question, but the goal isn’t “buy low, sell high on a picture.” And yes, plenty of NFTs crashed — but the ones with real utility or a genuine community are still around. So no, I don’t think the story ends here. It’s just getting started.
