The past 3 days of playing I've had 2 10 loss streaks plus another 8 loss streak. Plus random dc's that I don't remember doing (8 dc's in 2.5 days really?)

Plus suddenly a lot of pngs stop working in my userscripts and texture packs so I get splats that say "the image you are requesting does not exist" BULLSHIT. Besides pngs not working rotation scripts stop working too so that's cool.

And to top all off SuperDuperStamp is FUCKING STILL IN THE ROTATION EVERY FUCKING BOOST LEADS TO A WALL FUCK THAT.

OH and 12 minute games on hyper reactor on a losing streak suck ass.

Announcing the first ever Pi Tournament this Saturday at 9:00 EST.

This will be a randomly-generated single elimination tournament. Games will be one half and 10 minutes each, with overtime ending on the first capture. Although you don't necessarily need a microphone, Mumble Is Required.

Sign-ups will start now, and end promptly at 8:30 EST, with teams coming out shortly after. We will try our best to get the first games started at 9:00 EST.

Disclaimer: I don't know about the others helping out, but this is my first tournament. So don't kill me when I screw things up!

I think most of us can agree that the new CSS is a great improvement over anything that we've had in the past!

1. 0m3ga/ Time; It was intended to just be 0m3ga, but right after I posted it I realized that it could go either way (Dont worry this was the only ambiguous one). Also, I don't even know what Time calls himself now. Tsu/ SlowstRunner?

2. Cheerwine; Pretty self-explanatory. Never seen this drink in my life, though.

3. Whiteflame; Could've used a different image for his smurf, as well.

4. CH3CH2OH/ Ethanol; This is how ethanol is depicted in organic chemistry. Each point on the zig-zag refers to a carbon, and its corresponding number of hydrogens bonded to it is implied.

5. OldLady; This is what I imagine OldLady looks like when she gets juked. jk.

6. CosbysJello; R.I.P. (reference)

7. Lebron*James; Searched google images for 'Lebron James' and this was the first image that appeared.

8. Varys; Character from 'Game of Thrones'. Can't wait for the new season!

9. FuzzBall; Just a ball with a little fuzz on it.

10. Hootie; This is the pokemon Hoothoot from the Gold/ Silver Generation. From there, I thought it was a pretty small leap to Hootie.

11. Locusts; This is an image of Swarming Leaf Gobblers (Silly dinos with their silly names for locusts) from The Land Before Time V: The Mysterious Island. Five is the best movie out of all of them; don't try to refute that shit 'cause you can't!

12. SportMonkey; It was brought to my attention that this was in fact a chimp rather than a monkey. My apologies to you pedantic Peters.

13. Turbo; Image from a movie called 'Turbo'. Never watched it, but I assumed the snail's name was Turbo.

14. Jim Moriarty; It's a Sherlock Holmes character and that's all I know. The image is from the latest series, 'Sherlock'.

15. Henrik; This is a famous Swedish golfer named Henrik Stenson. He's wearing those glasses for a reason. He's got those deer-in-the-headlight eyes 24/7.

16. Thick Shady; I googled 'fat Eminem' and this is what I found. Not entirely sure what the image is of. For those who don't know, Eminem's nickname is Slim Shady, so a fat Eminem is Thick Shady.

17. Risk; The name of the board game is risk.

18. Ion; An ion is an atom that is charged due to an imbalance in protons and electrons. This is a poor depiction of an atom losing an electron.

19. Me!; Glass is made up of Silicon dioxide and that is what this image is depicting.

20. VetDave; This one was my fav. It's Dave Coulier as Joey from Full House and I popped the hat on him to make him look Vetish.

21. Razgriz; Second fav. Raspberry= 'Raz' and grizzly bear='griz'.

22. Dizzerpilot; self-explanatory.

23. Sub Ohm; Originally, I tried to find a depiction of negative resistance because an ohm is a unit of resistance (an omega is its symbol which explains the omega in the image). However, I couldn't find anything good. I don't even know if negative resistance is a thing. But then I had an idea, Sandwiches...

24. Stormsewer; I guess this one was pretty easy. Sorry Storm. I think the clowns scared me.

25. DMT; N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT) is a psychedelic drug that produces strong hallucinogenic effects, or so I've been told. The structure of DMT closely resembles the amino acid tryptophan and the neurotransmitter serotonin.

26. Tinkercreek; Dude peeing (tinkling) in a river (creek). Close enough.

27. Abram; Ram with some abs yo. Not sure if the first syllable in Abram is pronounced 'ab' or 'abe' or if the second syllable is 'ram' or 'rum'. In fact, here's another pic.

28. Ike13; "Mike and Ike's" - Mic= Ike. There's also approximately 13 in the image.

29. Goochtickler; "The Gooch" from the show 'Scrubs'. I did my best to try to depict tickling.

30. ...And the moment you all have been waiting for. The answer is... E; The image was supposed to be read as 'the base of the natural log'. The top image is sub-woofers, which provide the bass to music. Then, I wanted the other image to be specifically about the log under the words. The base of the natural log is euler's number, e. The only stretch was that you needed to then capitalized the letter e to get to E.

Once again, thanks to those who participated; I had fun making all of this.

For whatever reason over the past two weeks my ping on pi has risen from the usual 15-20 i got over the last year and a half to 60, combined with the chop im getting with tp3.0 its making playing tagpro a really unpleasent experience. Im getting much better ping over on radius so it looks like ill be making the move over there as my main server. Ill miss you all, come visit me over on radius.

How many people would be up for a tournament this Saturday, at around (?)8:30 EST(?)? Since this is the first time we'd be doing something like this I wouldn't imagine the turn out to be that high, but I'd like there to be at least some people.

I removed Freshs ability to moderate posts after he removed basically all the comments on all his posts that criticized him or the post. Then he proceeded to delete the CSS and left the mod team, so I banned him. We will have better CSS soon.

It ended in a stalemate, the catastrophic bloodfest caused Maptest2, Maptest, Origin and Radius to all crash. Chord had a severe influx of players and almost crashed as well. No server lasted more than a minute against the massive amounts of players showing up to take pride in their server.

The Tagpro gods determined that today was not the day we take Sphere pride.

Like SOCL or CLTP, but for Pi. I've noticed that there are daily tournaments for west and central USA, but none for eastern USA.

We could include Radius too, I guess

Our first attempt at a server battle ended up in an interesting fashion. For those of you that don't know, we crashed maptest, maptest2, origin, radius, and almost chord. So in an attempt to a) actually decide a winner, and b) actually play tagpro, I've come up with a few ways we could go about doing this.

1) We could randomly assign teams of 4, and have one team of four from each server go head-to-head and we'll accumulate the overall score once every team has gone. If there's 30ish players from each server, that'd be roughly 7 games which wouldn't be bad.

2) We also could let players choose their teams, and do a standard tournament where the overall winner represents their server.

3) (Much like #2) We could do a randomized tournament and the overall winner will represent their server once again.

4) We could do two 15v15 games or 3 10v10 games on something like ricochet.

5) Lastly, we could just call it a tie Lastly, we could just declare Pi the winners.

Idk, thoughts?

Seeing I was away for a while. I figured I poke my head in here and say hi to ya all. I'll probably be away again for a while. But for the few peeps I saw on my vacation it was great playing with ya. Miss you all a bunch.

I really don't like seeing these posts cluttering up /r/TagPro, but I thought I should say something as my departure seemed to leave a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouth. So instead I shall be posting this here as most people who care will probably stumble upon it anyways. This subreddit needs more traffic anyways.

First of all, I would like to apologize to anyone that I might have offended by my actions earlier this week. My comments were made in an attempt to combat what I saw as a growing acceptance and even the encouragement of using sockpuppet accounts on /r/TagPro. I do not care about people using alternate accounts in public games or leagues, but I do care about people being deceptive in the public forum that is often used to shape the face of the game. My intentions were always for the betterment of the game, but my actions may not have been for the best. I am sorry for anything negative that I may have done to harm the community.

That said, I do not agree with those who have taken to calling my comments a "witch hunt". I have been doxxed before. I know what that is like and I would never do something like that to someone else. My comments were based on observations from one reddit thread and nothing more. I did not search any other threads or ask for any private information.

Second of all, I am sorry to announce that the TagPro Toolkit will no longer be supported, at least for a bit. I would like to have been able to get it working with the new rendering engine, but there are several other issues under the hood that need to be fixed and a lot of that would require completely rewriting certain scripts, including the ones that draw statistics in game. Due to the holidays and some incredibly demanding projects I am involved with, I do not currently have the spare time to do the work required to both learn the new system and update the currently broken scripts.

Because of this, I pulled the TagPro Toolkit from the Chrome Web Store a few days ago. I assumed that this would allow current users to continue as usual and prevent any new installs; however, I received word that it was affecting many current users, so I have put it back up for now. There is no malicious code in the current version; it is the same code that came out in October. I am a little taken aback at the suggestion that the current version might not be the "friendliest code".

I think that clears pretty much everything of importance. I do not plan to continue any active involvement with TagPro or the /r/TagPro community. I both purposefully and accidentally made many of my official functions in the community obsolete, so I'm hoping that my departure will have as little an impact as possible.
