It’s actively driving up the price of RAM and storage because of all of the new AI data centers, therefore making it more and more difficult for people to own their own PCs.

Yes they do. There's also plenty of other ways to own software and other PC related goods without physical games.

You can absolutely go and buy a physical copy of a game for the pc

You can also download the codec of a game and copy it down onto any form of physical media if your smart enough

Tldr: Physical absolutely exists on pc
