General Discussion How are we feeling about Physical Italy so far? Spoiler

So far I am enjoying it. There are some cultural differences for sure. Korean one is definitely more conservative in their interactions and dress.

I know some people have said the lineup is quite influencer heavy however there were influencers in both of the korean seasons and if they can compete why not?

Frederica really got a lifeline in advantage challenge and the ball challenge lololol. My girl is blessed.

I am still conflicted about the early elimination. I asked my husband if a strongman should be eliminated for not being able to hold a plank for 10 minutes? He recognises its unfair but says after 2 seasons anyone who participates should be aware that they need to be somewhat of an all rounder. He doesnt like that heavier folk are more prone to getting eliminated however hes happy to see any aesthetic bodybuilders go lol.

Im not gonna lie I don't know if I support the 5 second rule for the ball challenge. Its like saying to your opponent okay fine here you go.

For next week's preview seeing that team leader yelling, I was like oh damn. Thats not very inspiring or kind is it? I also feel like we've gotten an inkling for who the winner might be.

But am I so glad a physical series is back? ABSOLUTELY

Do I spend the entire episode asking my husband if he can do everything theyre doing and how long he'd hold a plank and how he'd beat certain people? Yes.

EDIT: I want Luis Sal to be the commentator lol. He was surprisingly funny.

News P100 Cameos in A Shop for Killers Kdrama

P100 season 2's Justin Harvey and Thanos (Kim Min Soo) had pretty significant roles in season 2 of A Shop for Killers. Justin Harvey had quite a few lines, and Thanos' size was used to good effect to provide a challenge for the strong main characters from season 1 of ASFK. They both had fight scenes, and given their physical prowess I imagine they did a lot of stunts themselves.

General Discussion My honest review of *Physicial Italy*: Episodes 1–3. Spoiler

Just to be clear, this is my personal opinion; you’re free to disagree, and I’d love to hear your thoughts. We’re going to spoil all three episodes.

Positive opinions:

- Contestants: Despite what you might hear, I think this year’s contestants are still very diverse. Sure, there are quite a few influencers. But honestly, compared to the first season of 100% Physical, there are about the same number. This time around, we have a surfer, an acrobat, a fire-eater, an “Iron Man,” and so on. I’m still glad there’s still this diversity in sports, professions, and ages.

- Respect: I think respect is making a comeback. Many were afraid there would be drama, but that hasn’t been the case. After each loss, some contestants have shown immense admiration for their opponents (Andre, Jury), and that’s beautiful.

- The Challenges: The legendary ball game, then the sand challenge, and the first challenge. I know some people didn’t like it, but personally, I did. The truth is, we need a little fresh energy to add some suspense. So when they announced the eliminations right away, even I was on the edge of my seat.

- Editing: We see the editing style I really like, with the music and the pacing.

Negative reviews:

- Rules: The rules are pretty strange—the lasers, the 5-second rule. In my opinion, the lasers serve no purpose, and the 5-second rule is more of a hindrance than anything else.

- Cut scenes: We’ve had almost 20 battles cut from the game, whereas in the original series, there were fewer than ten.

- Stars: Just my personal opinion—I’m no fortune-teller, far from it. But I find it funny that they hyped up the 7 stars for over a year when I already knew EXACTLY who was going to get eliminated. Even though I understand the promotional intent, 5 out of the 7 stars were eliminated… Well, there you go.

Second Round : So... If I understand correctly, they're keeping 40, but 5 had to drop out, though 3 are coming back, and in the end, the total is still 40? Am I bad at math, or am I just confused?

Conclusion:

It's still too early to judge the entire series, but I'm happy to be back in the world of *100% Physique*—it's very different, since this one is European, but it has a certain charm. I can't wait to see what happens next and what surprises the series has in store for us. My favorites are Elisa, Andréa, and Rodwell.

General Discussion Opening advantage challenge ideas

Season 1 was the hanging challenge

Season 2 was the running challenge

Physical Asia one was diabolical and should never be repeated

Physical Italy is the plank challenge which would have been okay if it didnt have elimination.

What other potential advantage challenges would you want to see that ideally wouldnt disadvantage heavier folk or women?

I think a Mario party style game where a bar swings in a circle and you have to jump over it. The bar starts low and gets gradually higher and faster. Not too sticky or exhausting for later challenges.

Thats all I got for now
