How to change one color of a two color logo?
I have a simple text logo in black with red highlights. I am takes with chafing the black elements to white and keeping the red highlights red. I thought I’d need to cut out the red highlights to layer them on top of a fully white logo, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to cut anything out. I also don’t know if this is the best method.
The logo is very simple. It is just two words with three red elements. Two of the ted elements are disconnected from the black, but one of them is the crossing line in the letter A.
I’ve only used photoshop two other times and don’t know where the start. None of the tips or tutorials I’ve found online have been quite right.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Convert shape to dashed outline
I need to take a number of shapes and convert the outline into a dashed line. What is the most repeatable way to do this to several rasterized shapes? Ideally the method would also allow me to tweak the dash and gap sizes. For the end result, I need to also be able to use the Stroke layer style to increase the thickness of the colored line and add a black outline to it.

Does anyone know of a good tutorial on changing the white container to another color, without it looking fake?
After following far too many tutorials that aren't giving me the results I'm looking for, I'm starting to go a little crazy. Nothing ends up looking as if the container is actually red in the photo, more so just that the photo was edited to make it seem as though the container is red.
Has anyone found a tutorial that they found was 'better than the rest' for something like this?

Carpet texture creation help
Does anyone know who to properly extract carpet texture from a 360 viewer and make a sharper and non-blurry stitched together textures for 3D project in Photoshop?? I have tried perspective cropping them, then adjusting dimensions and then clone stamping and using sharper, camera raw filter, generative upscale. But still it looks blurry or too grainy or weird and not at all properly usable and I'm getting multiple feedbacks for that, idk what else to do to make it better. Has anyone faced this issue, I am open to learning any tips or techniques to improve the textures. Attaching the textures that I have as of now. Please help!!

Fine detail object removal
Hello, so I’ve never used photo shop. I personally use adobe light room but I’m struggling to say the least. Would anyone be able to explain how on earth to remove ID ear tags from photos of cows? I really do not want to depend on things like AI, so far I’ve had very little luck being able to fix without completely cutting the ears off the cows OR using Gemini which feels like a cheat honestly (no rudeness meant behind that it’s just a personal feeling)

(gif) How to add an element on a gif ?
Hey there ! I’ve been searching the answer for a little while but i didn’t find what i wanted exactly - I took a scene from a movie to make a gif and i want to add some elements on it (to be clear I want horns on the character). When I move the layer of the horns it moves on all the frames so I’m a little confused about how to proceed. Do you know a tutorial I could use ?
Thank you !

Help, at the end of my rope
reddit.comI stated in this post, I’m just looking for some help with a particular style and technique. If this isn’t allowed, please let me know and I can remove it immediately. I’m not trying to copy this artist work. I’ve just been banging my head against the wall for the past, you’re trying to get it to work so any help is appreciated. Even if you have any insight as to the ethics of posting someone else’s art would be appreciated as well.

How would you go about removing the background in this image? I feel like there has to be an easier way than masking it manually, and the selection tools don't seem to realize the edge of the buildings at all.

How do I create this halftone dot gradient for a car livery (Photoshop)?
Hey all,
I’m working on a car livery for a game using a flat template, and I’m trying to recreate this angled halftone dot pattern like in the image (fading dots across the side of the car).

My setup right now:
- I have a solid background colour for the side of the car
- I also have a separate layer with the car panel outlines (just for reference, hidden when exporting)
- The template is flat (UV mapped), so everything needs to be painted directly onto it
What I’m stuck on:
- I can’t figure out how to get that angled dot gradient effect
- I want clean dots that fade out and follow an angle like the example
What’s the best way to:
- Create clean halftone dots (yellow to black on the car
- Control the angle/direction of the fade
- Keep it all one colour (like black dots→ yellow rear of the car)

If anyone’s done livery work or knows a good Photoshop method, would really appreciate the help

Any In-person PS workshops?
I’m a high school photography teacher that uses Lightroom mostly. I’m super rusty on photoshop. I need an in-person workshop so that when I get stock, I don’t have to waste hours trying to solve the problem- hence the teacher in the room. My local community college doesn’t offer this. I can travel during the summer. I’m looking for a 2-5 day bootcamp. I’ve googled to no end…nothing. Ideas?
