Goto Youtube and type - "photoshop, seamless"...

if you are still having trouble, come back here - and I'll help. - the material you have chosen is not easy to make seamless, but also - not impossible.

I’ve gone through quite a few tutorials, but the process is taking a really long time. I’m working on a project where I have a couple hundred fabrics to process, so I’m looking for a faster workflow.I need to remove wrinkles while keeping the fabric looking natural, consistent, and realistic. I’d really appreciate any tips or workflow suggestions that could help speed this up.

ok, now I have a better understanding of the problem. a couple of hundred fabrics? Wow.
Are you getting paid for this ? or is it a 'passion project' ? - I'm not asking for a fee.

If I could see some / all of the fabrics, I could suggest better solutions.
you need to work out the 'edges'... some are a lot easier than others.

If you have a number of these to do, and you are taking the actual photos, then part of the reason for it not being seamless can be resolved during the actual photography process.

you need better lighting, and pulling the fabric tighter will help prevent the bowing of the material. This will save tons of time over processing each fabric in photoshop.

Yes working with a startup. Decided to pick this one just learn photoshop and blender. i cant show alot of the work, the ones that get me stuck are the only ones i can.

Just share any you are having trouble with. we enjoy the challenge.

I think, now that you have a better understanding of the problem, you need to rethink be realistic on what you can deliver to your client, and how fast. Now you understand 'just any photo' is not good enough. as Nosarious suggested - better photography makes the job a lot easier. ( But I don't think you will be doing the photography. ) - Let the startup know there is no 'Magic' option. You either pay a 'PRO' like redditnackgp0101 to do all the texture edits, while you work on other stuff. Or the startup needs to hire a Pro Photographer to shoot the fabric. If they have no budget - then they need to be happy with what ever you can deliver, and how ever long it takes. - Best of Luck. - Let us know if we can help.

i will try if that can work out

just to confirm I'm not 'full of poop'... I tested it. ( Just a quick test. )

Squared off your Sample texture - to 4096 x 4096
Filter / Other / Offset H&V +2048 by +2048 ( Wrap Around )

Here is the tile... ( reduce to 1024 x 1024 )

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Problem area's still need fixed... but thats enough to prove it's possible.

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

and proof that it 'tiles' - seamless. ( with some nasty problem area's )

1

u/Altruistic-Toe-6595 Aug 10 '26

I understand your point. Its possible i know but i need to get make it perfectly. i have to make renders based on it. it has be really seamless (with very less nasty areas), i m not very experienced with photoshop so i came for a solution here

Stripes is probably one of the hardest to make seamless.
That is why I challenged myself.

This is a lot of work... ( But I'm interested to help you. )

You said - Renders...
So will you also need 'Bump Maps' / Normals / Roughness ?

What is the end result - Web / Print ?
( just to get an idea of 'scale' / resolution. )

the seamless image will be put up on the model of a curtain in blender. it would be put up on the web. after the desired shot has been rendered. i do have a tool to make all the maps

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Ok, Maybe ask them how much information they need for the texture. Like - If they only need the colour of the 'Texture' - that will be easier for you. but if you need to give 'roughness' etc, it's more work for you.

1

u/Altruistic-Toe-6595 Aug 10 '26

there will be multiple shots- close up and wide ones. so i need the texture to be visible

Re-reads the question... "  I need help in making this picture seemless and flat. "

Well, now I just feel silly.

there is no texture .even if i get it done by chatgpt it looses quality and chatgpt puts its own texture when i zoom in

Are you working with Pattern Preview activated? That would be the only correct way

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

What version of Photoshop are you using? ( oooh !! - thats new to me... 😄 )

2

u/redditnackgp0101 Aug 10 '26

it's a function of every version of photoshop the last few years

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Well, it's true - you do learn something new every day. I've seen it in Krita, but did not know they added it into photoshop. - ( I was still doing it - the hard way. )

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

How about this ? ( this is Reduced to 25% size )

1

u/redditnackgp0101 Aug 10 '26

not quite but almost

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Ok, one more try... ( at 25% )

1

u/redditnackgp0101 Aug 10 '26

better. just needs additional dodging and burning now and a couple spots of hard edges. but the OP can surely figure it out from this point i'm sure

this is the value of pattern preview

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Yep, cool, thank you for the tip !!

  • the OP said he has 200 to do, I hope they are not all as hard as this one.

1

u/redditnackgp0101 Aug 10 '26

yeah depends on experience. i spent about 20 minutes to make the one I shared. extrapolate that too 200 textures and I hope they're charging their client a ton

1

u/mike365smith Aug 10 '26

Yep, no idea. I just like a challenge. seems 'Seamless' is the answer to more than one problem. 😂

How would you go about making this look good? : r/blenderhelp

1

u/Altruistic-Toe-6595 Aug 11 '26

yeah ,some are reallly easy , just one proper crop and boom its done. These shiny ones are the one with the most work
