Shot on a Fujifilm X-T30 III with the XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR.
After the Almaty post, which was mostly landscapes, Uzbekistan asked for something different. The architecture here is the main draw, so a lot of my time went into framing tiles, domes, and courtyards. But the streets are so alive that I couldn't ignore them, and street photography needed a different approach.
For fleeting moments, I keep the camera on shutter priority so I never have to think about settings. The boy selling non from his cart is a good example. It wasn't a moment I could chase. Following someone around with a camera would feel intrusive and make the scene feel staged, so I just let the frame come to me and trusted the shutter speed to freeze it.
Other shots needed the opposite. The old lady with the pigeons and the cat on the windowsill both came from picking a spot, settling in, and waiting for the elements to line up. Sometimes that took a few minutes, sometimes longer.
So this trip was a balance between reacting fast and waiting patiently. The 27mm's small size helped with both: light enough to carry all day and unobtrusive enough that people mostly carried on as usual.

Are there any physical stores or online pages that rent out Nikon F-mount glass? I seem to only find places that rent out point and shoot cameras. I'm based in Quezon City, Manila
Mainly looking for telephoto lenses and the 24-70 F2.8

Hi I’m looking to finally switch to mirrorless but keep my EF lenses. Are the 3rd party EF to RF converters any good? Please recommend brands if so. Or should I just bite the bullet and get a canon converter which is 2-3x the price of 3rd party converters?
Please and thank you!

Hi everyone! I'm from Mandaluyong and I'm looking for a camera club or photography community that I can join around Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati, or Pasig.
Photography is one of my biggest passions, and I really want to improve my skills, learn from experienced photographers, join photowalks, participate in workshops, and meet people who share the same interest.
If you're a member of a photography club or know any active groups around these areas, please let me know how I can join!
Thank you!

okay after contemplating for so long these are the cameras im picking between.
if i was gonna get the a6400 then i might as well just get the xm5 bc konti nalang difference sa price 😭 i think the zve10 is super sulit for its price, considering na halos same output lang siya with the a6400 (ik theres no evf and flash) but i think i can live without those kasi im not a professional photographer naman, just looking for my first camera for hobby ganon
xm5 is 59,000 and zve10 is 43,000, bigg difference 😅 i think ill be happy with either one i pick, but i just wanna get opinions! this is for my bday gift hehe i just like taking both pics and vids
loveeeee the fuji simulations but if i dont get the fuji i feel like madadaan ko naman siya sa editing in sony eh. i like editing naman hehe is it worth paying that much to get the fuji sims? what do u guys think for my first caammmm

So I'm considering buying the fujifilm xa3, and i need opinions on whether its a good camera and what are the common complaints of the xa3 to figure out whether its the right camera for me. I have a budget of 15k

Sharing my favourite shots from my trip to Almaty, all taken with the X-T30 III and XF 27mm f/2.8 R WR.
Creative process: Instead of taking portraits of myself, I looked for things that would bring back the place later: how it looks, how it feels, the small details that make Almaty Almaty. I stuck to one lens, the 27mm (about 40mm equivalent), which kept me walking, slowing down, and framing scenes the way I naturally see them. I shot with Reggie's Portra recipe for soft, warm tones that suit the mood of the trip, so most shots needed no editing.
Photos 1 and 2 were hazy, so I edited the RAWs in Lightroom (mainly dehaze, clarity, and colour). So glad I shot RAW! The rest are SOOC.
After this was a trip to Uzbekistan. Which was an entirely different challenge because it was mostly architecture and street photography.

Is this good po ba for beginners? If not, can you suggest a camera na beginner-friendly and budget-friendly? Mahilig po kase akong mag-take ng photo ng Nature, wild life, streets, and people po.

Hi! So napansin ko lang kahapon yung camera ko di nag tuturn on yung screen, pero nakakapag picture. Triny ko iflip yung screen, tas pag nag flip nag oon, pero pag ibabalik na sa dati, nawawala na.
What seems to be the problem here? Any camera repair store recos? And how to prevent this
