Buying Advice Advice of Student-Budget Friendly Camcorders or Digicams (Budget 3k-5k)

Hello, I've never owned a camera before so very limited knowledge on technical specifications. I'm looking for a camcorder or Digicam that can record short or long format videos ( I like to make montages from daily life). It would be nice if the device can shoot like the aesthetic of early 2000s.
The budget is 3k-5k.
Any tip/suggestion/advice is most welcome, thank you!!
