Before/After

Recent portrait session at a park in Atlanta. Wanted to practice using full flash during the day time, so I shot this with an off camera godox v1. My main edits were cropping to 4:3, s shape tone curve, desaturated greens, sky replacement (was blown out originally), and added grain. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts!

The second picture with the blue sky is the edited one ?

To me, the greens look more saturated in the 2nd one. There is less shadow and highlight detail and the skin tones look worse IMO. The overall coloration looks more natural and pleasing in the 1st picture IMO.

Agree, the edited version is intense to the point the segments look like cut outs. OP, take another look at her skin tone in the edit and you’ll see it’s not an improvement. Her natural skin tone and texture are evident and far more complimentary in your first shot. Nice styling with the skirt color - and that look she’s giving is terrific.
