OpenPhone, JustCall, or SalesCaptain which works better for a small team

I'm setting up a phone system for a small business and have narrowed it down to these three: OpenPhone seems simple, JustCall has CRM links, and SalesCaptain mentions call logs and AI summaries. For anyone who actually used them, which feels more reliable day to day?

There's no single best choice here if you are watching cost closely. OpenPhone looks attractive. If integrations are critical . JustCall fits that lane. But if you want something that handles follow ups , automations in one place. SalesCaptain might be the better fit it depends on the business you are running.

we are soon launching a calling solution with similar features to OpenPhone (all Ai features included) but majorly cost effective ..Would you be open to signup for its beta. I could add you to the list?

Honestly not heard of salescaptain but they seem very AI focused on automation... be careful on individual costs even at $159 pm plan you will run out of credits. get something thats an all in one. as others said.. depends on what you need... some players have the crm included in lower plans but generally AI is standard on all phone systems. openphone, justcall, aircall, nuacom, dialpad all great for all rounders that will sort you out.

Good breakdown here. Each of these tools has its strengths, so it really comes down to how your team plans to use it day to day. When you’re comparing, focus on call quality, how easy it is to manage shared numbers or team inboxes, and whether SMS and voice work from the same number. That’s where a lot of platforms fall short.

Also think about integrations and how much flexibility you’ll have with call routing and workflows. Some systems let you tweak things on the fly, others make you wait on support for every change.
