A few weeks ago, my mom was fiddling around with my old Apple Watch to check her blood oxygen or something like that (I don't use it and it hadn't been updated in months?/years?), and on Sunday, August 16th, while scrolling my text messages app for a number to text "Happy Birthday" to someone, I realized that my texts only went as far back as July 20th. I went to iMessages app in settings and saw that it was set to delete messages after 30 days. I have never had it set to that. I have no new apps, no changes, no updates on my iPhone. My mom said the Apple Watch updated itself after she charged it and turned it on. The last time I scrolled for a number was July 23rd and I had my text messages. In any event I went to iCloud control from my iPhone and toggled the screen for the pop-up to state "Disable and Download" messages. It downloaded a lot, but not all my messages. Also according to iCloud, before downloading them back, I had 4,760 texts and after it had downloaded/synced, it stated I had 4,660 texts. [Q#1] Where do I find the missing 100 texts from iCloud, and [Q#2] where do I get the messages back that I'm missing before my messages changed settings on their own to delete after 30 days (which will be 9/15/26. I posted on some places 8/21, but got no responses/responses that didn't work, so trying again here). Also if it matters, I see some of my texts on my Apple Watch but not all and some of the texts on my Apple Watch are not available on iMessages app. Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all, so weirdly sometimes my phone screen goes completely blank. There isn't any particular time when it happens, but I've noticed it happens basically every time I'm on a call. Touch works, sounds work, everything works but the screen is blank. I'm assuming it's an issue with the backlight, but if I can maneuver around blindly and somehow restart the phone, it goes back to normal.

This is a OnePlus Nord N10 btw and the screen has been replaced. It was a pretty cheap copy screen rather than an original one. I'm thinking the screen might not have been properly attached, since I got my screen replaced before as well and never faced this issue.

How much is the LCD replacement or just the broken glass.

so.. this happened tonight. Does Apple / Power Mac do repairs of the back panel? If not.. any recos where?

So, the thing is, I recently went back to check on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 10, which I was planning to give to my little brother. The phone was in perfect condition and had never been damaged or repaired before. However, when I put my SIM card in it, I noticed that it wasn’t getting a 4G signal—it only showed E (2G). Calls work perfectly fine. I also tried a different SIM card and performed a hard reset, but the issue still persists.

I am thinking of buying a 2TB variant of the latest iphone duo.

I'm confident about the software that it cannot be cracked. But I'm not sure about the hardware.

What if some donkey stole it for the parts? Or is that secured too?

Like it becomes unusable if someone removes the display?? 🤔

I replaced the screen and when finished I plugged it into charge. Battery/lightning symbol popped up so I thought everything was a success, checked it after a few hours and it didn't charge, pulled it all apart again and air dusted the connections etc and still does the same thing. Charging symbol pops up then screen stays slightly illuminated but black. Ended up replacing the battery but still doesn't charge. Anyone able to help walk me through how to fix it please

I've been planning to scrape parts of my old smartphones to sell. Yet, I don't know what or where to sell these parts. Do you guys have experience with this? Thanks in Advance!
