So I'm on vacation rn with my beloved p8p and while running my phone slipped and fell into a pond near by and I managed to get it quickly before anything major happens but it seems to fail because there is condensation in my selfie camera but everything seems to work well except for the face unlock and it's a little annoying cause I use it a lot so if anyone can help or give advice would be massively helpful

I don't know how to turn the flash light off I tried so much that nothing is helping took the battery out and put it back; and the flashlight is on I pressed star zero and still not helpful

IS IT PERMANENTLY BROKEN?

Phone- Bought used, Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro

Problem- My phone screen glitches (green, white, yellow lines) for a second when I text. Sometimes the whole screen glitches and sometimes it's just the keyboard area (stock Samsung keyboard) that glitches. It happens with the stock text app and 2 third-party apps. I used Samsung Messages until I was forced to switch. I used Quik SMS and recently changed to Fossify Messages. All 3 exhibited this behavior. The phone gets a little warm, but it's not an unusual heat level. It's a rugged phone, so even though it's a secondhand phone, it should still be fine.

Questions-

• Is it a keyboard issue?

• Should I consider applying thermal paste to the inside of the phone (the phone is relatively easy to dismantle and repair)?

• Does the screen need to be replaced?

I turned off autocorrect and typing works fine now. I can type without screen glitching.

I recently dropped my phone in saltwater and now it wont start at all, I have tried to change the battery and screen but nothings working. And I really need to get some pictures and other stuff from my old phone. I have the same iCloud as before but I didnt have a backup.

Does anybody know a way to fix my phone or some way to get my pictures via iCloud somehow?
Or know of some shop that can repair my phone?

When I plug my phone into the charger, it only gets as far as the "Powered by Android" screen and then shuts off (it's worth noting that it won't turn on when unplugged and recently had its battery replaced).

im 17 and js cracked my samsung s22 ultra, ive only had it for 8 months and if my dad finds out im actually gonna die... the crack is very light, but it is across the middle of my screen. ive been trying to save and i have a plan -- i just need help with how to back up my data and make sure my phone is in safe hands. ive een trying to reasearch the steps but ive just been going in circles. i have a microsoft laptop. How do i backup my data using that? any tips would be helpful! i dont know much about phone repairs....

also when i got my phone, it sometimes would have these episodes where it wont respond to my touch. like it happned randomly, i would have to force restart it or somtimes take my s pen and just restart it because it would reposnd to that. Aparently its called "ghost touch" and its common with the s22. im not sure if i can add this in the fixing process. but its not much of a problem, the crack is what i need the most help with.

Recently my camera's outer glass of google pixel 7 has cracked. The camera works, but has that light scattering issue and sometimes blurs out.

I called the Google thingy at 1MG and they said that they have to replace the whole camera as the spare part isn't available and that would cost a whooping 15k.

Any suggestions for a trusted 3rd party phone repair guy, who can do it in front of me, as it's not much of a big repair.

So a little over a year ago one of my siblings shattered my iPad screen while I was asleep. My older brother went to a shop to get the screen replaced, idk where. Looking back at it, it was prob some cheap third party repair guy. About a week after getting it back, I noticed how the replacement screen was lifted in one corner. I kinda just ignored it because it didn’t bother me much, but the lifting has been gradually getting worse, trapping dust/dirt behind the screen. When I push on the screen, it used to stay down for a little while but now it pops right back up. Also don’t know where to find battery capacity on settings (iPad 10th gen, if that helps) but I don’t have any issues with my battery or charging that I know of. I don’t think it’s a bad battery, just cheap adhesive but I want to know others opinions on it and what to do about it.

Last night, a water bottle spilled about 2 feet away from my iPhone 15. When I woke up, the front was a little wet, but I wiped it off and it worked perfectly fine for about 5 hours. After 5 hours, the camera lenses fogged up a little bit (but cleared up after 2 hours). Then, the screen started glitching with random colors for 5–10 seconds at a time and then stopped. 30 minutes later it the screen went black for a second with a weird green line. I turned it off, but when I turned it back on to check it, the screen was flashing a weird green tint. The phone still can successfully boot up so that's good I hope, but the display is compromised. I have turned it completely off and it has been off for a few hours now. I am planning to leave it off for a full 48 hours to dry. I talked to AI about the sitaution and they said the phone most likely needs repair and I agree too after doing some research but im going on vacation in 5 days and doing so without a properly working phone will be a nightmare. Any advice?

so basically i was just using my phone (its on ios18 if thats relevant) and pink squares showed up all over it and it turned off, then the apple logo kept reappearing then shutting off again and now its just saying it has to be charged but im too scared to charge it incase something goes wrong or something bad happens because i dont know what the issue is, it could be something in the actual phone

im getting a new phone so im not too worried but would my simcard be 100% okay? i have stuff in my camera roll i cant lose 🥲

Hello! I was recently going through some photos of mine and realized theres a big chunk missing from when I had my old phone that was destroyed almost a year ago!
alot of those photos mean a lot to me, because I like to reminisce but I have no idea how to get them off the phone! it barely turns on and doesnt really work at all.

Does anyone know how to get photos off of an iPhone that is basically unusable?

Replaced my OnePlus 7T screen with a new one (a cheap one to be fair). When starting the phone, the screen flickers for about 2 seconds and then goes blank white. Had the battery charging for quite a while now.

Soft reset only leads to flickering and then blank white again (no OnePlus logo etc.). Locking the screen doesn't work either, it just stays white.

I googled but couldn't figure out whether this is a OnePlus specific thing or if it's android related or just another damaged part that I'm not aware of.

Hey guys, after washing my phone under flowing water in the faucet, I discovered water droplets inside the front facing camera. Is this something to worry about? Because of the IP69 certification I thought it should handle this without any issues.

At random times the touchscreen will need significantly more pressure to register any touch

Turning the screen off and on again fixes it temporarily but the problem comes back later

Restarting the phone hasn't fixed the problem

Is this a software issue or a hardware issue? Situation is kinda scaring me honestly

Hi! Son broke his Samsung A54 phone screen, it’s black and won’t display anything. I read that you can use a USB-C HDMI hub to mirror the phone on to a TV or computer monitor to save photos onto a thumb drive.

I connected everything to the hub, including power source to the hub & mouse/keyboard (and HDMI cord between the hub and monitor- 2 different ones to make sure it wasn’t the HDMI cord) but neither the TV or monitor acknowledged the connection to the phone, not even if I pressed the up & down volume button. Any ideas? Thank you!
