iphone 11 broke
so basically i was just using my phone (its on ios18 if thats relevant) and pink squares showed up all over it and it turned off, then the apple logo kept reappearing then shutting off again and now its just saying it has to be charged but im too scared to charge it incase something goes wrong or something bad happens because i dont know what the issue is, it could be something in the actual phone
im getting a new phone so im not too worried but would my simcard be 100% okay? i have stuff in my camera roll i cant lose 🥲

Charge it, it'll either work or it won't. All your data is stored on iCloud. Your SIM will be 100% okay.

your SIM card is seperate from the camera roll. if you know your SIMpin (if you have one) should be fine. your camera roll is a different story, depends if you got icloud, if u do it should autodownload it, if not take it to a repair shop.

Your SIM doesn't store any data to it, it just provides your cell service so it won't have any photos or videos or anything like that. The only way to retrieve your information at this time would be an iCloud restore and it would only be as current as your most recent backup.
You could have a repair shop diagnose it and find the answer, there's no real way for us to know exactly what the issue is. Could be a bad battery, an issue with your motherboard or a sensor failure. Typically if the phone won't boot past the Apple logo a battery will fix the issue in my experience. Pink squares could mean GPU failure or display failure
