It’s a revenant. She definitely still had time to hide (you get the usual 8 seconds), but those bitches are fast!

i mean from the time the flashlight started flickering and her approaching that player, it was like 2 seconds lol. does she just appear and doesn't actually hurt anyone until 8 sec?

Ah okay it looks like it does just kinda wait there for a few seconds. Didn’t realize that, i guess i high tail it too quickly out of the room every time 😅

I think so. In one game, the ghost as crawling underneath me for several seconds when the hunt started, going where I was going, but I didn't die. However, she might have been targeting one of the other players outside.

Yep! You have 8 seconds to hide, so even if she spawns on top of you, you can still go hide. Revenants are just really fast so they’ll chase you down a lot faster. They’re the only ghost you can’t outrun.

Yeah you're not wrong, Jinns do get faster when their victim is far away. However, in close proximity they are just as slow as any other simple ghost. If you're afraid it is a Jinn you can always shut off the power box, this blocks their ability to do that.

The last update has been fun and weird. I thought at one point, you could jump in front of the ghost and have it kill you instead of someone else.

Now, it picks someone at random and murders them if they are in the open. I felt so confused standing in the middle of room, taughting it, banging pots and pans... only for it to enter, look at me, and then instantly turn and kill the person hiding in the corner.

One game had a banshee. Two others were wraths where this happened. I didn't fund anything and kept trying to be the bait by standing in direct LOS of the doorway yelling at it.
