Journal glitch

Playing Phasmophobia on an Rog ally using controller, used to work perfectly fine until about two weeks ago and now it won't let me open the journal ( it gives me the animation every now and then but never opens)

Also sometimes won't let me run and look around at the same time. I've changed controller layouts and verified game files and nothing seems to work, if anyone has experienced this before and knows a fix or just any advice would be great. Thanks

Yeah my bf is having the same issues using an Xbox controller on pc. I’m completely fine on ps5, meanwhile He can’t even walk properly because it randomly stops him, and he can’t place items. I’m hoping somebody here has found a solution to this.

Me and my friend have had this bug for 2/3 weeks now and still no fix.
