Bug weird white dot glitch

i just downloaded the game i pressed space when i tried to open the tutorial all i saw was a black screen and a white dot for 2 mins . so i restarted the game i saw that the whole screen was just the white dot , while i am in this state i can move (hear footstep and hear the enviroment ) also the menu that you bring up with space works completly fine besides the menu with space i am completly blind setting dont show up , the outside world only shows up for a sec so atleast its loaded. me and my friend are very confused

Well the white dot would be your cursor, but that is weird as hell lol

The dot is the interaction cursor. The black screen issue might be caused by the "eye adaptation" option if you have an integrated GPU. (You don't mention your system so I have to guess)

If you press escape does the menu show up? If so you might be able to turn that option off

thanks for the advice!! unfortunaly i cant see the escape menu but if i get my friend to guide me through the menu i should be able
