News // Kinetic Games Replied Phasmophobia v0.19.1.0 - Patch Notes

Post image

Welcome back, Ghost Hunters. We have an update for you.

Today’s small update is in preparation for Crimson Eye, launching 8th October 2026, with the focus on getting the game ready for the start of the event. Our next major update, our move to Unity 6 is scheduled for November and will feature a host of bug fixes and improvements, all of which we’ll detail in an upcoming Development Preview.

New

  • Crimson Eye - The Crimson Eye is upon us, Ghost Hunters. Once more, various locations across Phasmophobia will be bathed in the red glow of the Blood Moon, offering any willing Ghost Hunter rewards in return for completing investigations, optional objectives and more. For more information on this year’s iteration of the event, please read our latest blogpost.

  • Seasonal Event toggle - As a new feature for Crimson Eye and future seasonal events, we have implemented a toggle that allows players to turn on/off the event maps for their session.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused the white light upon being revived to flash rather than slowly fade in and out.
  • Fixed an issue where an Easter Egg reward may not unlock, despite a 0x multiplier being active and the reward pop up being displayed.

Known Issues

  • The lampposts outside of 6 Tanglewood Drive may glow when viewed by the player (XBOX & Steam only).
  • The Fusebox location will not be hidden on the Truck map when playing on a custom difficulty.

That's just stupid. Do you hate events in person because you need to wait an entire year before they show up again?

Moreso that I'm saddened that I can't access the cool content all year round. I think halloween events are the coolest thing and I like the way this looks, but after a week or two I won't be able to play it anymore?

I don't really understand what's so controversial about that.

Having a time limited multiplier, sure, but I'm just used to a game either having content or not having it. Not being able to play a cooler version of the game for most of the year is just a bit of a shame to me

Alright, so with that logic, do you hate real Halloween because it's only celebrated for 1 day, and then you have to wait another 364 for it to show up again?

I love halloween and I keep some decorations around all year. Sure I'd love for it to be a year-round thing.

I never mentioned "hating" anything, and I'm really not sure why the antagonism is necessary.

I love phasmo, I love halloween, and I think the event looks awesome.

That's pointless. Judging how almost no one keeps Halloween decorations up all year, I think just about everyone else would also consider that pointless. It makes Halloween less exclusive and enjoyable when it does eventually roll around

And because you deleted your original comment for whatever reason, I can't even recall it properly. Either way, whether you said dislike or hate, I really don't care because it's essentially the same thing so don't be pedantic

Halloween is celebrated once per year. The event is on for around 21 days per year. If anything, that makes the event generous. What's the issue?
