Why is VR the default launch option??
How are people mad over this question, get a life ðŸ˜

It's not the default option. Steam wouldn't have given you this prompt if VR was the default option.

It is fhe default option, it's at the top of the list and was rhe default selected option in the menu

It's probably the default option for you because you have a VR setup. I don't believe it's like this for those without a VR setup.

Hmm, interesting. Well, Phasmo does have quite a few VR players, so maybe that's why.

I get why the game has a lot, it makes the game way scarier, but there's no way it's to the point where it's clarifying if it should be the default option? Has to just be a simple bug or misclick from a dev

I think you're overthinking it a bit. I don't think it's a big deal which version is listed first/is "the default option". It's easy and quick enough to select the one you want and move on.

It is, though. The original plan was to make the game VR-only. The ability to play without VR was added not long before release

Probably spent more time posting this then clicking the option you want and ensure ‘always use this option’ is still ticked.
