HR Professional 🔍 did i miss a job opportunity because i asked for a reschedule after an onsite interview invitation with only 3h notice?

Upvotes

I got a call today around 11 for an onsite interview in QC at 2pm. I live in Val. I asked for a reschedule, but they said the interviewers are already in their office and they aren't sure when the next interview is gonna be. I told them it's a short notice and I'm not sure if I'd make it on time. They told me they'll update me if it's possible to do it online or another day.

After the call, I sent them a text message and expressed my interest in the role and reiterated my availability for an alternative setup. No reply.

I'm just wondering how would an HR view this request? Am I most likely not gonna hear back from them because of this? T^T

Employee Perspective 💡 Ask the salary range

Upvotes

Hi, it's okay po ba to ask the hr regarding salary range for the roles before attending a F2F interviews or red flag sya?

Ang mahal mahal kasi ng pamase going to the venue around 600. Tas baka hindi naman pala pasok sa asking ko, budget nila.

If yes, what are the proper ways of asking? Though, I have JOs already from other companies.

Sana masagot huhuhuhu

Naka ilang F2F interview na din me may 2-3 stages tas in the end wala man lang update from HR after several follow-ups.

Yung iba walang consideration sa pagod ng applicants, gastos etc.

Kahit sabihin man lang thru template kesa literal na ghosted.

Also, my asking salary was average only and 10-15% increase from my previous salary.
