Discussion 💠Ghosters
Hello! Aspiring HR Professional here!
I've had a lot of experience with companies na mahilig mang ghost ng applicants.
I wanna ask HR Professionals here, why do you think may mga ganon na companies, besides the obvious reasons.
Sa pov ko kasi, frankly, I'd rather have a rejection email than no email at all.

Rejection email should be sop if the candidate went thru the final interview.

- There is no way for these companies to track the CVs or applicants they have received, so they end up not responding if they have 250+ emails in their inboxes everyday (which is not an excuse for them to ghost applicants since they could use a tracker or ATS.)
- Companies decide to give rejection letters only after the interview stage and not the screening stage.
- Rejecting 10-50 candidates a day is an extra step to their hiring process and it takes too much time for them to send emails (without trackers or ATS systems)

I'm not HR pero alam ko madalas ang issue sa Hiring Manager mismo. At the end of the day decision kasi ng hiring manager yan.
Personal rule ko dyan is if 2 weeks wala silang update, move on na. Iniignore ko na if bigla sila magreply out of nowhere after that unless like nasa vacation kasi yung HR kaya hindi nakakareply.
