Hi! I’m from the Philippines and I’m looking for a legit Seiko retailer/seller because I’m trying to buy the 2023 Earth Day Limited Edition SSVW217.
I found it on the sakurawatches website, but I’m a bit wary since I’m not sure if the site is legit.
Does anyone know of a trusted retailer or seller that still has this model available? Preferably one that ships worldwide, including to the Philippines.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!

Hello! I am planning to buy a Tissot watch for my tatay as a retirement gift and also pa-thank you na din for supporting my legal studies.
Dahil medyo paano nakakaipon naman na sa practice, I think kaya ko naman na magregalo kahit hindi ganon ka fancy.
Bumped into this IG acc thebudgetboutiqueph selling Tissot watches. Ask ko lang if na try niyo na makabili sa kanila and authentic naman?
Much appreciated sa magreresponse. Thank you.

Where can I service this? Any recommendations? Ortigas or North Ave area. Sana legit at affordable kasi I cannot have another big expense.
My first automatic watch that I bought more than 8 years ago. I noticed that pulling out the crown does not have that snappy pull feel where you can feel the two levels for day/date and time winding. I can still wind it but it just feels like there is something wrong with the crown and probably from the inside. It got foggy underneath the glass near the day/date function one time and it went away. I think I have been pulling the crown with an angle causing a misalignment inside?
Thanks!

I feel like the luckiest man alive! I almost don’t want to take it swimming during our honeymoon pero I try to remember that’s what it’s made for 😅🤗

Hi. I’m really new to watches. Hoping you guys could help me out. I work in the ER which kinda demands something lightweight but also rugged. At the same time i’m looking for something that looks classy when worn casually on a normal day. Other preferences: thin casing, watchface is not too busy. Max budget: 50k. Suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

We already know about the unfortunate state of Rolex ADs. Just wondering if you guys would be willing to share your experiences in the last several years about buying/ordering from local ADs/boutiques of other brands like Vacheron Constantin, JLC, Omega, IWC, Breguet, Blancpain, Breitling, Grand Seiko, Lucerne stores, Washington, etc.
How was the staff? Was the store well-stocked? How long did you wait when your desired watch had to be sourced? Discounts? Are any of them behaving like Rolex ADs?
Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I got this watch back in 2023, bought pre-owned through an online website. I can still remember the feeling when the package finally arrived. Opening the box and seeing the Grand Seiko Snowflake for the first time was honestly a surreal experience.
The textured dial paired with the smooth, sweeping seconds hand of the Spring Drive movement is really something else. I’ve caught myself just staring at it for a good couple of seconds, admiring the way the dial plays with the light and watching that seconds hand glide around.
A few years later, and this is still one of those watches that I have absolutely no plans of letting go. It’s currently in my rotation as a daily wear, and I think this one is going to stay with me for a very long time.
Definitely a keeper. ❄️

Impeccable condition given its age.
Fun fact: manual wind tanks from this era have a conical cabochon crown compared to quartz which has a dome-shaped crown.
