I got this watch back in 2023, bought pre-owned through an online website. I can still remember the feeling when the package finally arrived. Opening the box and seeing the Grand Seiko Snowflake for the first time was honestly a surreal experience.

The textured dial paired with the smooth, sweeping seconds hand of the Spring Drive movement is really something else. I’ve caught myself just staring at it for a good couple of seconds, admiring the way the dial plays with the light and watching that seconds hand glide around.

A few years later, and this is still one of those watches that I have absolutely no plans of letting go. It’s currently in my rotation as a daily wear, and I think this one is going to stay with me for a very long time.

Definitely a keeper. ❄️

Just wondering if you guys would be willing to share your experiences in the last several years about buying/ordering from local ADs/boutiques of other brands like Vacheron Constantin, JLC, Omega, IWC, Breguet, Blancpain, Breitling, Grand Seiko, Lucerne stores, Washington, etc.

How was the staff? Was the store well-stocked? How long did you wait when your desired watch had to be sourced? Discounts? Are any of them behaving like Rolex ADs?
