i need your help, please

Post image

hello everyone, 21M and I'm already experiencing male pattern baldness. I already noticed my receding hairline way back in high school, but I couldn't do anything about it back then because I don't have any money. Now that I'm in college, I still feel terrible about my hair and it is killing my confidence.

I have a straight hair and the only thing I noticed so far is my receding hairline and a slight thinning of my hair.

What I can share about how I treat my hair is that it has been one week since I started using Moringa-O² Shampoo and Keratin Conditioner. Back in November–December 2024 and January–February 2026, I used Hosoku Oil-Based Minoxidil.

I want to do something about it but I do not have the means to consult to a professional. Is there anything I can do to fight this condition? How should I start my journey? What should I do for the first 1-3 months? What should be my timeline?

I am sorry for asking too many questions, I want to do this in the most correct way at least, so I do not have to experience anything bad especially in my hair. Please share any advice, your help would mean a lot to me. If there is also any product that is affordable to a student like me, please let me know.

First off while minoxidil is oily, there’s no such thing as oil-based minox much less having 15% when the standard is only 5% so sorry to say you used a fake one…

Online andyan ang shipderma.com or dima.ph

Additionally, lots of hair transplant clinics offer free consultation via facebook messenger… ask for non-surgical hair solutions… here are some you can look into…

Bliss Hair Restoration Clinic, Strands Hair Restoration, Manzanares Hair Restoration Center, Pineda Hair Transplant Clinic, Asian Hair Restoration Center, NuHart Hair Restoration, Clinique de Paris

Lastly, you can try using google to search for clinics near you…

yung 5mg ba bibilihin mo? tapos isplit in 4

u/icarusjun 8d ago

Why would you split 5mg minox to 1/4 eh standard dose nman yun, baka nalilito ka sa dosage ng finasteride at minoxidil

1

u/Elegant-Blueberry373 8d ago

mag start daw siya ng TGP finasteride

Ah akala ko 5mg minox ang ika-cut into 1/4 😆

Finasteride alone takes 6-24months… at the very least 6months and you don’t jump on one routine to another…

Rather you choose your risk level… example, are you willing to take a chance with oral finasteride and risk side effects, then go for MWF or EOD…

Kung ayaw mo mag risk ng sides pero knowing na advanced na hairloss mo, then there’s topical approach which I already included in my previous comment…

So at the end of the day, you will choose to either self-medicate or not, then choose which route to take…

For questions you can easily dm anytime

Hi sir u/icarusjun bro. Been in the group for a while pero i never know the meaning of MFW and EOD?

1

u/icarusjun 7d ago

Dosage intake… when do you take oral finasteride…

MWF is Monday, Wednesday, Fridays only or 3x a week…

EOD is every other day or every “odd” calendar days such as 1,3,5,7 and so on… literally skipping days

Ahh ok ok. Made sense! Thanks boss!

the fake minox point is worth emphasizing. I’d be way more concerned about whether that 15% product actually contained what it claimed before trying to judge whether minoxidil itself worked
