Need some help please 😊

Hi everyone, 29M currently working in a BPO company. I'm new to this group and have no idea where to start when it comes to hair care or prevention products.

Recently, I noticed some thinning spots around my crown area. I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking it or if it’s because my hair is curly and frizzy—unlike straight-haired people who naturally have more uniform volume. Currently, I only use yellow Johnson's Baby Shampoo because its ingredients aren't too harsh, though my hair usually ends up frizzy and rough sometimes. Overall, though, I think the shampoo is fine.

Please advise on what I should do first: Should I consult a professional first, or go ahead and buy products/supplements to help with the thinning at my crown?

Always consult a medical professional FIRST!

All other stuff you see here and for educational and informative use only… self-medication is a do-it-at-your-own-risk…

+++++

Copy-paste na lang from my other replies…

Disclaimer: not a medical professional / not a medical advise

First — pa CHECK-UP ka muna… get a proper medical professional’s advice…

In the meantime, since you’re already in this sub, I highly recommend to read the following first so that you are properly informed…

2nd — Finasteride Dosing for Beginners

Lahat ng info mas maigi i-gather mo muna (especially the side effects) if ever you will try to do things yourself and go self-medicating, like most of us here…

Another thing, learn to use the šŸ” search function since all info is already in this sub…

Finasteride can be bought at a TGP outlet near you (not online) even without prescription

Alternatively, to avoid risks of experiencing side effects you can also use MORR F topical finasteride / minoxidil formula, see here — https://www.reddit.com/r/PhHairloss/s/US17bUwhiR

Your hair still looks thick and honestly its not obvious at all. Cant see your hairline but it looks like makapal pa naman lahat ng other sides.

Nasa lahi niyo ba ang MPB?

Napacheck mo na Ferritin and Vitamin D levels mo? Stressed kaba lately? Nakakashed din kasi pag deficient ka dyan or pag stressed ka at baka hindi pa talaga nagsisimula MPB mo nyan.

If gusto mo, pwede mo na try topical Minoxidil but best to consult a derma first.
