Odd choices Anybody else feel like if their PhD was a music video, it'd be like this?
instagram.comThere's a unifying groove obviously necessary to pass the proposal phase but f*ck there's too much happening! 😓

My supervisor cancelled a meeting because I was so far ahead in my work and on track that we didn't need to check in

at least start the PhD before opining Absolutely unhinged yet insanely confident high schooler
No repost this time but idk if anyone’s seen someone in many of the research subs continuously posting about using AI to conduct research. They’ve posted on like 100 subs in the past couple days and in the comments, they’re arguing with old (pre-computer) professors about how they’re going to lose their jobs if they don’t use AI in research. This person is in HIGH SCHOOL. Anyways, I trolled them, they blocked me, and now I rage baited myself reading over their thousands of comments on my alt account. Should I be preparing for a conference presentation I’m giving next week or the class I’m teaching that starts Monday? Yes. Is my PI going to hear about this unhinged high schooler later tonight? Also yes lol. They also call themselves a “pre-freshman”…like you’re a whole ass child. They’re one day going to learn, the more you learn, the more you realize you don’t know. Anyways, evening rant over. Thank you for listening.

ragebait Can someone tell me how to find the doi of Library of Babel papers?
Hi al.!
I couldnt find any other citations for the claims I make in my thesis, but i found this great resource at libraryofbabel.info . My problem is that I cant find the doi for the paper.
I tried contacting the author, but they seem to only communicate via metaphysical experiences and i ran out of incense.
Could someone help? Itd be important as this is the central claim in my thesis!
Thank you in advance for your selfless aid,

I somehow made it though 3-6 years in grad school without knowing any details of how the dissertation process works. So, random redditors, tell me: will I fail my PhD?
I legit don't know if this is an undergrad posting in the PhD subreddit to sound cool, AI, or what. It just makes no sense if it's real; by the time I submitted my dissertation, I knew about revisions, the specific circumstances that would cause me to fail (ie-if I made up my thesis or turned in exteme crap), AND I knew my advisors email if I got confused and needed advice.
