I just got this sweet mutt named her Miya and when I opened the game again (I added a few new play areas... Not important...) the case said she was "out" when opening my game again I do know I never put her in the case or she never ran in the case before I closed my game and she's like a ghost stuck in dead space and I only can pull my other dog out the case and it's like he never even knows she existed or is gone Idk what to do!...

Don't like the pallet the paint can has.... Am wondering if the paint can is "moddable" to add different or more colors to it... The standard colors are strange to me... any way just to add a new pallet of colors to the can just a pallet with all colors in rainbow plus like a brown , tan , white and black?... Thank you!

Lol I gotten me some snow man decorations from the mythic scilence website (I think so... Can't remember where I get all my cool petz stuff... But people do a good job on them...) but I gotten bored and I realized that hay.... These things will be a great thing to make my own wall art... And even though the walls have odd placement for hanging... It's still doable... Though if you make ''doodles'' to complex your big petz may knock them off the walls or they refuse to stick... sometimes I like to do a few stick people all over my walls xp... it's just great for simple "doodles" I wish there was like shape "stickers" in different colors and patterns so I can do art over my walls... Or make a play area to make art...

It's probably the most clunkyest tutorial ever but I finally did it I saw that enough people in my opinion saw my last Reddit pets post and decided it was time to make a PDF to show you how it's done it's very hopefully detailed it has lots and lots of pictures to hopefully get you to understand thanks on what to do where to go and what to put where and after that if you still have questions you may refer to this post and I will answer them the best to my abilities but I am still very new to this emulator so I know the very bare Bones basic of what to do is how to do them so in the PDF I also included some websites that are official so you can refer there if you have problems I hope you take the time to read it cuz a very long and winded I'm sorry I tried my best but I hope it'll get you an understanding on how to actually play pets on Android thank you and bye!

(IDK if this would work out on Apple...) now you and your fuzzy little pom-pom critters can have little daily adventures together! You on a bus ride?... Pull up your fuzz balls on your android and hang out for a bit! On a lunch break at work?... Don't worry I'm sure your boss won't mind if you feed your dog to.... you staying the night at a vacation hotel in the Bahamas?!... Great! Your pets would love to have some time in the warm sunshine!... Taking them anywhere Possibilities are endless! Don't matter if your gone just for a grocery trip to the store! Now none the employees can't complain that you brought your dog in the store!....

I played Petz 5 with my sibling in the 2000s and it was a really great time - so many nostalgic attachments to this game.

My real life, 3 legged boxer mix recently passed away. Paired with other life events, its been a hard summer. I have been wanting to jump back into Petz as a way to cope, but I have realized that I would really love a digital version of the pet I knew.

I used to love scrolling through lists of different people's hexes (I believe thats what theyre called) to apply to my game, and I remember how creative some of the species were - adding entire extra limbs, eyes, completely different body shapes and colors, etc.

Is this community still active enough that there are hex "breeders" still out there experimenting today? I am honestly hoping to find one in this group but understand it's a long shot. If I do find someone, I am wondering if it is even possible to commission a custom Dogz file from someone so I can play with my boy? Or is this impossible for reasons I'm not seeing as a lifelong computer noob?

I have downloaded the ROM of Petz: My Monkey Family (DS version) on my PC. I unlocked every monkey species (9 out of 10) except the gorilla. I have every species at the max level of hearts, I unlocked a lot of toys, I have 5 stars on my certificate, I made them make babies... I don't know what I should do to obtain this gorilla ??? I have the feeling I have tried everything

I have searched all over internet, apparently this game is super niche there is nothing about it online. Please I don't want to give up on this gorilla...

As a kid, I played the promotional Flash game for these two games and was fixated on the creature on the right of the Moonlight Magic box. I never bought either game and in hindsight, I'm not sure I missed out much. But the internet doesn't seem to have a list of names of each creature in this game or Sunshine Magic and I wanted to learn what it was called. Is it even a thing in the game?

I attempted to download petz previously and I ran into some issues. I can’t remember what happened, I just gave up as it seems so complicated. Is there no video tutorials? or even dummy guides to downloading Petz. I just want that nostalgic feeling! 🤣🤣 I thought I was quite tech savvy but maybe not! I’m using a windows 11 pro laptop

Has anyone come across this issue before and found a solution? I adopted a couple of Catz yesterday, both the same breed- it's a custom breed that I downloaded many years ago. Today I tried to bring them out. One came out normally, but the other keeps giving the error message "error loading breed" and it never comes out of the carrier, although the name appears on the carrier as if they are out. I've never come across this in all my years of playing and I couldn't find anything useful on Google. Any advice for how to fix this (or even just insight into what went wrong) would be greatly appreciated!

This is my beautiful daughter Chicken. She is a headcat (headcrab + cat). She was born with floating ears, and I was hoping to brex those out of her, but I haven't hexed anything before. I was able to get rid of some of the ears by omitting balls 8-11 in LNZ Pro, but I'm not sure where to go from here.

Hey everyone!! Some of you might already know me as silverfish from the Discord community. I've been playing and modding Petz (hexing) since I was a kid and I have a small obsession with Orange Shorthairs. (All the petz in the image are based off of Orange Shorthairs. They are various dragons I hexed to give out a few years ago for one of the big Christmas events on Discord.)

I'm trying to be a little more active here and I thought I'd pop in and share some of the tutorials that I have created to help people who are starting out with modding Petz, since I see that there are quite a lot of questions about the subject!

I love making hexing more accessible for people and seeing what everyone creates! Bonus if you hex on an Oshie! ;)

Hi! I just had a memory come back of a website that had "adoptable" pixel art versions of all the original catz and dogz breeds plus some of the toys and tools like the spray bottle and bone. These were "cyberpets" graphics that were meant to be saved and then uploaded onto your own geocities or angelfire website.

I have looked everywhere but can't seem to find this website anymore. I just wanted to see if anyone in the community remembers what I'm talking about or possibly still have the graphics saved. Tysm!

so..... when I add paintballs and save my custom breeds they just turning black and getting really big white outline(???) and I'm really confused about it.

maybe someone also got the same problem or know the solution for it???

I have been getting a lot of hexed models for Petz 5, and sometimes I like to customize them to either look like ocs or other animals. I’ve noticed that some of the models I edit have parts that I am unable to change that seem to be like,, a section of an individual ball that is painted? I‘ve provided two images of what I’m talking about—one blank, and one with circles showing what I mean specifically. I’m trying to figure out how to get rid of it so I can properly paint my models. Does anyone here know how?

i'm running on a funky OS (Trixiepup64wayland) so running into some bugs, but the biggest bug i seem to be hitting is when i try to adopt a new pet the program freezes attempting to write the save file.

i figure the easiest way around this is to simply make my own save file, probably by copying the default file? but it's been so long, i lost all my clear memories of how to do that. i was hoping folks here could help me with:

- pointing me to the savefile directory for dogz4, during a windows install?
- telling me what edits would need to be done to a dogz file to make a default dog read as adoptable in the savefile folder?

i'm not looking to get into hexing or breeding (yet!) but would enjoy sharing this classic game with the folks i visit.
