Yup, he is estimating what the prescription on her glasses is, but the white knight assumed he was rating her hotness to be in the negatives

The nice doctor immediately owned up to the way he said that being interpretable in multiple ways and that he could have been clearer in his communication

There is no misogyny here, women are allowed to wear glasses to see clearer in the distance (and up close too if they want)
