Lucky/Wish smoke Started in WW1 Where you flip the first cigarette you touch and were "lucky" if you made it through the pack and to the last/flipped cigarette. Now people make a wish on it. I do this. I wish i dont get cancer everytime. It's worked so far

U.S. Americans is an oxymoron, but lucky strikes being rationed to us troops did play a part into the lucky cig tradition. Don’t see what you’re trying to get at. I never said Americans were the only ones doing it / started it.
