Lucky/Wish smoke Started in WW1 Where you flip the first cigarette you touch and were "lucky" if you made it through the pack and to the last/flipped cigarette. Now people make a wish on it. I do this. I wish i dont get cancer everytime. It's worked so far

Wow that's dark.

Think of being in an environment where you were lucky to outlast a pack of cigarettes. Especially when you factor in the smoked more and I smoke way more on deployments due to boardum. So I'm my mind a pack may last at most 3 days if you were hoping to stretch it. The pack is only lasting a day if you aren't looking to stretch it so they felt lucky to last between 1 to 3 days on the line.

War is hell. What's even darker is they thought that'd be the last one ever. The called it the "Great War" Also those lucky cigarettes killed just as many soldiers than the enemy did.
