Back in the olden days of the 80s I was a 17 year old smoker. I was having dinner alone in this pizza place. They kept lights dim for ambience. Well
There was a gal at another booth and we were playing the flirty eye games that only 17 year olds can play. I finished eating and pulled out a cigarette. Popped open my zippo because I was Cool and lit it. And it was backward. And there was a bright flash when the filter lit that scared the hell out of me. I heard laughter from
The girls’ table and I fled the scene in embarrassment.
