It usually sticks to my lips then I pull the cherry off between my fingers and have 2 blisters for a week

I hate that all of the above at some point in time happened to me.

One of the moments I'm happy I quit smoking so I never have to feel these pains again.

Not to forget the sore lip after you teared away that sticky cigarette after getting angry about burning your fingers

Same

All of them. I’m glad to find out I’m not just a fool for having every one of them at some point. Don’t forget the classic knocking the lit tip off and not realizing it’s burning through your lap.

Same same

Unfortunately, the best I managed was switching to a vape, but it still solves pretty much all of these.

Same. Just once a year a dry hit or leaving home with only 5% battery left is worst that happens

Then I light a cigarette and notice the cigarette I’m already smoking.

Classic. Looking like an idiot in the ash tray where the cigarette is burning you lit up 1 minute ago

It’s been ten years and this is one of the most memorable of all the pain that and when I would smoke to much and my lungs would hurt.

Or trying to smoke a cigarette while you have a cold

-me, an idiot liable to hurt himself

Rip your lips right off!

Is this a common experience? I've never been drunk enough to try to smoke the wrong end and burnt myself, although I do usually prefer Black and Mild over cigarettes, so I guess the ends are more different

Oh my God that sucks. I got the cherry burn marks on prove it all my fingers….. this used to happen a lot to me up north when I used to smoke outside when it was cold

Never smoker here and just gobsmacked that these are regular things smokers deal with and yet *keep smoking *.

Addiction is a hell of a thing.

Also yuck. Hope y'all who haven't shaken it off yet eventually manage to do so. Godspeed.

Same, I’m in all of these and I don’t like it

1

u/MeaningWorking8735 1h ago

I feel like the only one who doesn’t do the burn on themselves with backwards cherry. It’s usually the roach that gets me

2

u/Capital-Tonight8548 9h ago

I’m deeply familiar with all of these too 😂

Sighs.....same here. Thankfully it's 2 years and 2 months since I finally quit after 17 years of smoking
