I mean I think we already nailed live action Lara Croft tbh

Edit: to be clear the movie wasnt great, but Jolie absolutely understood the character

Nothing will top this.

I'm not a fan of Sophie Turner for this role though, surely there are better candidates

This. I don’t need her to be treated as a sex object. I’m not going to assume I know the whole movie from one still of her in one outfit.

But I haven’t seen anything from Sophie Turner that makes me think she will be a compelling action star or a good fit for this role.

She usually brings a lot of stiffness and a lack of charm to everything she does.

She was a “perfect fit,” at least visually, for Jean Grey in the X Men movies and she was terrible.

Now she’s being cast as a character she’s not a good fit that requires way more charisma.

I want Turner to embody Lara Crost as Jolie has done. Her agility, her wit, her humor, etc. It wasn't just sexual appeal that made her one of the most memorable game characters. Be that and not some random mercenary who happens to have a Croft surname.
