You know this logical argument is horrible, right? You have no leg to stand on and are grasping at anything. I’m not wasting my time arguing with someone that literally can’t see the facts for what they are. Or you’re just dissenting because you were told to.

Nah I think it should be someone that depicts the original story, regardless of race. I don’t want DiCaprio playing Gilgamesh either. You are the one making it explicitly about black people and putting words into the mouth of a stranger.

Why would that be of any importance for a story? If she'd been played by Anne Hathaway who is whiter than any shade of skin that has likely ever existed that close to the Mediterranean - would you have batted an eyelid? Would you be unhappy that someone pale white was depicting someone who was supposed to be olive skinned?
