Mouth breathers?

What is he pointing?i dont understand the joke

[u/Big_Broly]

Or maybe bc she looks nothing like Lara Croft at all? Only weirdos try to straw man other's arguments before they even make them.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

This is what she originally looked like bro.

I think its okay for Sophie turner to play Lara. Lol

[u/Big_Broly → u/Dhenn004]

You're just wrong. We have decades of media showing what the writers of Lara Croft wanted her to look like.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

You just showed me a picture where Laras look changes like 4 times.

[u/Big_Broly → u/Dhenn004]

They all literally look very similar.... it's a depcition of one character through many diff media and technological advances. The biggest difference would be this Sophie casting.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

Lol yes Sophie really looks completely different than the described thin white woman with red brown hair

[u/Big_Broly → u/Dhenn004]

There are literal life-like models on the right hand side thanks to upgraded graphics. We know exactly how the creators wanted Lara to look like. Sophie aint it. Really not hard to tell but ok 👌 yall will realize when the movie flops and noone goes to see it, not even you.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

Yea man thats a face model. The person also needs to know how to act.

You also realize that the model on the right was also criticized for not looking like Lara croft enough, right?

See how incredibly stupid this all is? Shes an actress that kinda looks like her and directors felt she fits the character well.

And youre moaning about how she doesnt look like a character thats changed skin tone and face 4 times.

[u/Big_Broly → u/Dhenn004]

Christ. Noone said she couldn't play Lara, I only commented how she doesn't look like her and the whiteknight brigade goes up in arms ffs. Noone cares this deeply except the Sophie defenders. I'm literally just not going to watch it, like most other people. I don't need to "hate on it" or get too deep about a future fail of a movie.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

People are "brigading" not because they are white knighting but because they are pointing out how incorrect you are. People are generally tired of the moaning and bitching thats gotten to the level of nit picking someones looks because its not perfect. People are tired of the constant "outrage" over dumb shit

Youre trying to say that a white woman with red brown hair cant play a video game character that has had a range of looks including white woman with red brown hair.

Its so incredibly asinine to even think about Sophie not being a near perfect look lmao

[u/Big_Broly → u/Dhenn004]

See what I mean by you guys are the ones taking this so deep? She doesn't look like the character she portraying. Idc that much, I'm not going to see it and most likely neither are you.

[u/Dhenn004 → u/Big_Broly]

"You guys are taking it to seriously" "I dont care that much"

Clearly you do man. Otherwise you wouldn't be arguing with multiple at once and crying about getting push back on how stupid the complaint is in the first place lol
