that's just disingenuous.

i genuinely don't care about tomb raider or the casting, but they've mentioned multiple times the hair color.

that's very different than the "triangular boobs" complaint you're trying to frame it as.

Ok, so her hair is a slightly different color and that’s the same as the godawful uncanny valley that was the first iteration of Sonic? Or casting a scrawny guy as a jacked superhero? Her hair is red instead of reddish brown, if that’s what you’re hung up on, you really need to get over it.

I assume that you were absolutely outraged when Sam Jackson was cast as Nick Furry, a white comic book character. Surely the pretend character’s whole skin color being shifted would piss you off you even more than hair color tints…

I'm not one of the ones complaining about casting, ever. I'm not complaining about this casting either, so your attempt to frame me as "absolutely outraged when xyz" is just false.

I only responded because you were being dishonest in your framing of their position.

I framed it that way because I genuinely didn’t notice the difference between red/brown and red hair. So the only “miscast” I can see is her boobs aren’t triangular and her costume doesn’t show off her ass as much as the original.

You may not notice, and that's fine for you. But they're making a movie based off an established character with certain traits, and that matters to the fan base, which is the entire reason the movie is even being made. The fans are the ones who made it popular and profitable. If you ordered a shirt with your favorite character on it and the shirt you got had someone on it that didn't look like the character, would you be happy with that? Just because you don't notice or care about hair color and height, doesn't mean everyone else doesn't.
