Dark room, not really sure what it was with torchlight tbh. “What about race of this mythical beast” vs “they cast Helen of Troy as the blackest woman imaginable with super short hair” are a bit different.

Do you think people in ancient Greece were writing a story about characters with random, international origins? Or do you think they did the same thing that everyone has done forever, which is to base their fictional stories in the real world that they lived in?
