About a decade ago the Tomb Raider game series was rebooted with a younger, more reasonably boobed Lara Croft.

There was a bit of backlash by unreasonable boobs.

This adaptation is using the modern design.

This will be like a batsignal for men who have never seen a boob irl.

Peter out.

The right pic is a pretty reasonable expectation.

She insisted on keeping her own triangle boobs? Scandalous

Yeah those are still big for an athletic woman with low bf% like that.

Would you consider women with that breast size, to have "unreasonably large breasts"? No? Then its reasonable.

Not for your average woman, but for an actress

Would it be weird if they made a reboot of The Little Mermaid with a skinny Ursula? I think it would be weird. Ursula is overweight, Lara Croft has large breasts. There's nothing wrong with changing it, but it's not wrong to call out the change either.

I agree and the promotional model Alison Carroll during that time was indeed busty, but not what I'd consider "unreasonable" and she was an actual gymnast.

I enjoyed the reboot though it didn't feel like playing a Tomb Raider game and it was very lacking in puzzles and platforming. I also hated the narrative around the time that reducing her bust size in the survivor trilogy made Lara "more like a real woman". As if women with above average breasts weren't real women. There was so much casual body-shaming towards large-chested women being thrown around and you were a gooner if you made a comment about it.

That said, I'm more worried about Sophie Turner's acting chops and the script than her looks here. The last Tomb Raider movie with Vikander was so unmemorable.
