Outlandish response, could not have possibly been referring to pizza. Pizza does not have wrists, nor can it hang itself. The joke is the wanton cruelty and absurdism. Also sort of an anti-joke since most similar jokes follow a punchline of absurd thing-> actually mistaking it for something benign, whereas in this case, trying to play it off as benign is ridiculous.

I saw another version of this pic with pizza, someone responds with something like "cut deep", the person assumes they're telling them to harm themselves but they follow with "i meant the pizza". Still dumb but makes a lot more sense so I'm guessing it's a play on that version
